Trailer #1

Kaji Daiki (Eita), a 4th year medical school undergrad, is unable to get into his choice of seminar group, cardiology. Ishizue Ryosuke (Ikuta Toma), his peer, mentions to Daiki that it can't be helped that he's not selected since it's popular. Though Daiki has qualified for other groups, he is very disappointed.

It turns out that both Daiki and Ryosuke have qualified for the forensic pathology group. The names of 5 students are written on the public notice board, Daiki's name is at the bottom of the name list. When Daiki sees his name, seems to recall something and leave in a hurry.

At the same time, Kuboaki Kanako (Ishihara Satomi) who is also a 4th year medical school undergrad, has qualified for the neurology group but she goes to inform the group's professor that she wants to be transferred to the forensic pathology group.

On the other hand, Daiki goes to the professor of forensic pathology's room and meet the professor, Sagawa Fumihiko (Tokito Saburo) and declares agitatedly that the name list on the board has been altered. Sagawa asks him instead the reason behind his aspirations in entering the cardiology group. Though Daiki is slightly nonplused, he explains that the heart is the last fortress for humans so he thinks that once the heart stops beating, the other branches of medical science will lose their meaning. Sagawa continues to probe him by saying that not only those who are alive, those who have passed away also require people to listen to their voices and doesn't this kind of medical science has its meaning too. Sagawa adds on that the reason he lets him enter his group is because he believes that Daiki is more suitable for forensic pathology.

Days later, in Sagawa's seminar room, the 5 students, Daiki, Ryosuke, Kanako, Kirihata Teppei (Endo Yuya) and Haisa Aikira (Sato Tomohito), along with the associate professor, Natsuigawa Reiko (Yada Akiko) gathers together...

I wont lie i was a bit disappointed with the ending on the first episode. it was well done but seemed too coincidental to me. i do love Eita though and i loved how the show had a nice flow to it; i wasnt bored at any minute. I especially like shows where its not a continuous but every episode has different stories to it and with that the characters grow and we figure out their past present future blah blah but yah.. definitely looking forward to Voice :))
