Usually short animes such as the ones with 12-13 eps, leave no room for fillers. If fillers are what you want, go watch Bleach, Naruto, etc. But usually these short animes are just there to assist in making the manga more popular.

Couldn't have said it any better myself :3

i agree

I agree with you guys, fillers just ruin it. Specially Naruto. I really enjoy the 12-13 episode animes. They have some of the best story lines, but they usually rush the ending if you know what I mean. It's like they said, "Okay, I think we should end it here, so let's all throw in ideas and try to squeeze them in an episode or two." Not enough space for details. That's why I like them at around 12-20 or 30 every season, w/ a few sequels. I have an example. Tower of DRUAGA, good story, good plot, perfect mix of action and comedy w/ a hint of romance. They left it off at about 12 episodes and now they have plenty of fanse anxious for the sequel coming this winter.

the important for me depends on how the story goes in each episodes, as long as the story is good and interesting whether it has long eps or not i'll watch it...

Not all animes with less than 30 episodes are cliffhangers.. Actually, those animes are actually fast-paced, and it's good if you don't wan to get dragged by filler episodes, and short animes are usually straight-to-the-point. But some are cliffhangers, like Amatsuki, which ended very suddenly, it really gave a weak ending, and I haven'theard of a sequel yet..

I like animes that are short, like Haruhi Suzumiya, yes,it is open-ended, but not in a bad way.
I also like Minami-ke, because it's so funny, you will die! Hahahahaha! And oh, it has no real plot, but look now, it's gonna have it's 3rd season coming out in Japan on January 4 2009!
H20 and Ef -a tale of memories- are good examples of short animes, if you like drama and romance, but even if you don't, there's a chance that you will change your mind if you watch those. Very nice endings.
