buying anime from shop or from "play-Asia,amazon,,,etc" is became illegal !! when this is happen?
i see pay just for watching on online this is stupid thing for me.
ya ya free anime just for japanese and for us we should pay,,,this is Racist and independence too
if Raws getting licensing i will accept the Revolution until others they will accept it too.
when Naruto ep95 is out on cr already the Raws is out in same day also Non-English too.
i see this is not logical.

anyway,,whatever i'm said,,,already i'm talking to wall.

by the way,,,im buying Naruto on Dvds all season1 and sooner i will buying season2 this is calling really support ^^, always i'm buying my anime on Dvdz and skip beat in my list there alot
"cheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeer~

buying dvd's online at places like amazon, is not illegal. buying them in any legit store, is not illegal. watching them on tv, is not illegal. borrowing them from a friend, is not illegal. renting them from a store, is not illegal. renting them from an online store like netflix.com, is not illegal. accessing them on a site that has ripped them off or also the very act of uploading them yourself without permission onto that site, is technically illegal. Cr is no longer accepting or offering ripped off or pirated uploads. That now makes Cr legal and somewhat like a video streaming rental service.

i lived in japan for two years, and believe me hind, anime is not as accessible outside of that country. if i had a tsutaya down the street from me right now, here in america, i would be going to that place practically every day. and it's not like i can turn the tv on any time of the day and expect to be able to watch anime. the tv networks of america have a very small offering with limited and awkward airtime. in japan, life is glorious as an anime otaku.

the customers that are in japan using Cr are going to have a very hard time adjusting to the revolution. partly because not many japanese use credit cards. paying in cash is more desirable. that is one of the reasons why it has been so slow and difficult for companies to do business online in japan.

you just talking about japanese and people from USA...what about other people in this earth???
the most people they can not watching videos on Cr because of videos not working with their countries or they need waiting one day until video completing loading 100%

Let's look at the logic.
if this site is care about people from USA 80% ...soo Cr they should doing is like site "demonoid.com" and "adultswim.com" they blocked their site just people from USA they can watching on adultswim and demonoid just for some members.

why not Cr they blocked their site too...already Cr useless to us now....alot from people they can not watching videos on Cr.

i wish they blocked videos from foreign and i wanna leaders Cr staying away from other Sites,,we losing sub by DB just because of solve problem the people from USA also Sub by Cr is very suck and this is truth.

in the end all videos on Cr getting hacking also is have attack by 4chan they deleted all old video im reading about it from other site. and there still people putting viruses here >..< the most members they can not login because of Bugs i think so.
the topic about watching Anime illegal or legal just excuse for collecting money and for forcing people to pay.

please who care about illegal or legal on internet!!!
you think people they will respect Resolution Cr,,no no they became enemy Cr now.

i'm not against Cr ..i love Cr the old one ..to be honesty Cr now verrry boring..old members they deserting Cr...i find here just young a girls lolicon this is making me i feel sick.
maybe is time for i quitting Cr "Sob" nothing is taking my interest here.

there point...

the customers that are in japan using Cr are going to have a very hard time adjusting to the revolution. partly because not many japanese use credit cards. paying in cash is more desirable.

this problem in the most countries not just in japan just Excuses "Sigh"

I see that there are many programs we can see in US on CR but are blocked in other countries (Asia?). But I've heard from some friends that in Asia there are more TV channels that show Japanese animation than in US. We used to have Toonami which had many animes, but it's gone. We have only Adultswim but much of it is American. I wonder if it's because there are so many programs that are not on TV in US that Shinji can license many for CR but he can't do that in other countries because TV stations have them already?

Shinji said (in the very first posting on this thread:
But it also means that the videos will be uploaded very quickly, the video quality will be great, and the creators will make money so they can support themselves to make more new stuff.

So I'm sure some of the money will go back to make more anime!

I'm not Shinji, but I believe that is the point to crunchy's going legit.

You know what would be keen? Some sort of partnership with Netflx so I could add anime titles automatically to my netflix queue if they weren't available here. It's just kind of a pain having to do a second search for a title. (I'm not really that lazy I just think that might be a money maker)

Though I joined in 2007, I only actively started playing in 2008, but I must say the site looks good. Thumbs up.

Well, since pretty much *everything* I want to watch on Crunchyroll has been taken down, I guess I'll have to go elsewhere. It's not like there are even any legal alternatives for watching J-dramas and certain movies unless I spend a ridiculous amount of money for something raw.
