When I say good source I'm not really talking about video quality, I only expect so much from streaming sites. Instead I was talking about the amount of different videos and the ease of navigation.

With youtube they don't always have some of the artists that I loved here on crunchyroll and when looking for videos you have to pretty much know who or what you're looking for. Not very helpful when you're looking for something new.

Oh I see. Well you should be able to find artists by going to the Korean YouTube site:

http://www.youtube.co.kr/

Good luck and that's the best way to find Korean music videos in my opinion.

Back in the summer of 06 CR had slowly opened my eyes to the vast amount of Diverse anime out there.
It sprung me on a craving for the artistry behind the animes. Speaking to people about the likes and dislikes.
Spreading it through the school I use to go through. We brung upon a new community.

Though we had a little bit of anarchy and all the animes that were not legally allowed were there.
The Forums flood with spam and nonsense as it does not but on a different scale.
A tyrranical mod that made things funny in retrospect.

It was the beginning of CR the hatchling bursting... From what few can still say "the good old days"
Then the new year hit and BOOM!! the amount of users was extrodinary.. Filling the billet and the site was flooded quick...
Little by little you learned hoe to improve the site know the restrictions a promote dedicated users to jobs of responsibility.

I`ve gotta say I respect what you do for these people!!!..KUDOS as my SWCC instructors said !!!
Do greater and better things my friend

I hope Crunchyroll is able to get more titles in it's lineup. I'd have loved to see Inuyasha: Final Act, and other great titles licensed by Viz on this website, because frankly, they have no idea what they're doing when they offer streaming video content. Their subbing of the first Inuyasha: Final Act episode was terrible, and although CR is not perfect, it is by far the best when it comes to picture, audio, and sometimes subtitling quality.

As far as becoming the streaming source for all anime. I'm not sure I'd like to see that, I hope that individual licensing companies can provide quality streaming episodes for the anime they license, because let's be honest, Japan does not shove DVDs down the throats of people who want to watch the shows being shown on TV right away, so why should I have to pay $20-30 for 1-4 episodes of a series I'm marginally interested in viewing? Of course, this is changing online by offering streaming episodes in a short time after they're aired in Japan. I hope interest in providing this for the rest of the world becomes more popular than it already is.

WOW so much change! This was once a place of free anime where people of like minds could chill. Now its been eaten out most likely like like youtube once was. Im all for supporting creators being an artist and all but there is something much easer about clicking on a video rather than riping your dvds or paying for your dvds plus paying to watch it on the go.
Well thanks for the fun times crunchyroll and shinji! I guess the fun has to end some time.
Wish you all the best: Hao_sama

Ok people may think that most or all of my posts concerning CR's choices are negative or downright critical and to tell the truth I've had little reason not to be.

Yet as of today someone at CR has achieved the unexpected and produced a front page layout that really works and looks good!
its a far cry from the last one where finding something was problematic at best and the clutter (lots of it) has been eliminated.
the listing of each simulcast as it is will definitely be far more user friendly as will the rest of the layout.
if it all functions correctly (haven't had time to check much) the person who created this layout should get a raise or at least a bonus CR could see more customers and retain more people because of how well the lead page has been set up!

I have to disagree with dragoneye on the new website layout. I feel it went in the total opposite direction, sure everything is simpler, cleaned up and refined, but it looks so bland and boring.
The right hand column basically just acts and looks like a block of grey text (something a designer uses to get the general layout of type and general visual impact) and lacks colour and excitement along with the all the anime titles and drama titles.
The fall simulcast titles area takes up way too much space and although being able to see which episodes have been released or are releasing is a nice new feature, I found seeing the anime title logos much more appealing. Also with that I found it easier to keep up to date with current episodes when an admin/mod posted it in the site news section.
The site news section, which would be regarded as the most important piece of information on the page gets completely lost between the simulcasts and all new episodes.
As for the all-new episode section, I like it, but it is rather unnecessary and redundant as the fall simulcasts already informs you of new episodes released. I am also going to say the same of the recent naruto shippuden episodes, it is completely pointless and to me only seems to act like a push for Naruto.
Finally there is nothing that draws your eye through the webpage, there are the gray dividing lines that are so light and thin the barely do their job. I feel that a simple re-arrangement of the content and the addition of one or two colours should really liven up the page.

the lead page is for accessing the product they SELL the news is barely worth the time to read it more often than not making it the prime focus would be a step backwards. Most people who have subscribed really couldn't care less if said person is a new Mod or if the staff has gone off to another anime con...etc.... they want to access the anime they are paying to see flashy garbage on the page to find that anime is only making it a pain to do so and why so many people simply stopped subscribing. The site became so convoluted with non anime clutter you couldn't easily access something that was more than a few days old without having to dig through pages to find it.

the list you find so long has solved that issue (yes the anime is The #1 reason people come here/pay to be here) so anything that detracts from the anime is in fact detracting from the entire sites purpose! making anime accessible for a price if you want it as its released.

you want all the other stuff there's the top bar with direct links to each feature and if you really want anime news go to ANN they usually have threads about CR's latest releases even before its posted here.

as for color who cares its sugar coating functionality is by far more important if you want it different simply change the skin to one you like more.

I kinda liked the older looks of the site better..

at least for the ones concerning about when the shows were gonna be shown instead of looking which one's were the newest on that day
