To be honest, comparing the art, plot and characters, there are alot of Manwhas which are much better than mangas out there...
Although many of them seems to have similar stories... Characters has a really big impact on them, tragedy or comedy, its really fun to read...

I've read a lot. Manhwas you call them right? They're okay I guess. But so far the ones I've read have really weird plots and the art is err.. different? (I kind of don't like it ), but yeah, maybe that's just me being bias coz I've read mangas all my life

i've read some korean mangas and some of them are awesome.
but i prefer japanese ones.

I prefer manhwa to manga most of the time (don't look so surprised people!! )
But that's because I am more likely when reading a manhwa to be surpirsed and find very original plots and heroines that aren't ditzy or weak. They usually are very outgoing....
But of course there are some manga like that too, it just takes a hell of alot longer to find where as most korean manhwa I pick up are full of it. |

the only manhwa i got to read was goong and i just dropped reading it recently..
the updates are slow.. and im getting used to reading mangas from left to right so reading a manhwa (right to left) is kinda hard for me now haha

No wonder Goong was made into a Korean drama -_- I usually can start a manhwa, but I can never finish it because it just turns completely soap-opera-ish and I just can't stand it after that happens. I'm only still reading Goong because I finished the drama (and liked the ending, btw), and besides that... I can't finish Hot-Blooded Woman or Cutey Boy.
Come to think of it, the art gets on my nerves, too. Way too girly. I'd actually prefer the Japanese big-cutsey-eyes to the Korean huge-eyelashes-puffy-lips-fashion-model style.
