i like korean manhwas....the art isnt that amazing on most of them, its like old time mangas, but they storylines are normally really good and more realistic...i still prefer japanese mangas tho

i simply hate it :C--
I love korean stuff but manhwa is disgusting ->
the art is really boring and every manhwa looks the same , they have stupid expressions , the storyline is ughhhhh , you have to read them left to right , it's justigikksgjkfbmlkfdfkg can't stand it
but that's just my opinion if you like manhwas there's nothing wrong with it i'm just a damned old lady o.o

Something I notice happens quite often with manhwa's is that series abruptly end with zero closure. The author decides it isn't selling or isn't happy with the direction and simply abandons it without fanfare, which I find to be a great disservice to fans.
Yoo Ah Dok-Jon is a great example of this.I'm really getting into the story, feeling for the characters, the plot is developing nicely, our...hero is in a serious fix and...nada.IM Ae-Joo drops it like a lead balloon.Doesn't bother to quickly wrap up the story in a rush job final issue.Nope just abandons it altogether. Now that pisses me off.Even a Scooby Doo ending would have been better that leaving things unfinished.

i haven't read a lot of manhwas to actually warrant a solid comment, but i think they're pretty creative. i've read one, titled 'cutie boy' and despite how silly it sounds, it was actually pretty entertaining. it literally made me LOL. but ultimately, it depends on your taste.

I like both personally, but I find that Japanese is always better translated.
