Korean mangas are called manhwas. There's some really good ones, like Goong and Magical JXR. But they're not as popular as mangas though.

Some manhwa have REALLY (AND I MEAN REALLY) good artwork, like Legend (a Korean manhwa). They also have good plots and are interesting! ^^
I say manhwa is just another type of manga. (It's still asian, isn't it? xD)
The only thing I'm against is American manga. No offense, but the american manga published by Tokyopop has very poor artwork (the only one that has good artwork is Vampire Kisses Blood Relatives). I mean seriously, I know that americans can draw better than that! SOMEONE GO OUT THERE AND SHOW THEM THAT AMERICANS CAN REALLY BE GOOD MANGAKAS! D:

Manhwas are nice! They're very realistic~ XD Art is veery different from Japanese's.
And the translations are hilarious. Love the Koreans! <33
But I still prefer manga. More used to it, probably. x]

LOL, a lil side note: alternating between manga and manhwa is freaking hard! I always forget to read from Right > Left, and instead read Left > Right, manga style. >___< ! Then I have to go back to the beginning to read everything over again so it'd make more sense. -sighz- =P

I like manhwa more then manga. But, that may be because I have read less manhwa but the ones I have read are very good. Immortal Regis and Ares. Love it! Though, Ares has not been updated for months!
