The critics who are unbiased, seen many animes before, and rates anime on many levels, not rating it high because it was fun but everything else about it sucked. I also like critics who are much harsher.

Hmm... Actually I think that your topic is quite vague. One reason would be because you did not set the definition of a critic. The definition of a critic may vary. Some may be a critic in giving anime reviews per se and some may be a critic in arguments that relates to anime.

However, if I were to talk about the former (anime review critic), I can't say that I have someone in my mind wherein that person is the best in giving anime reviews. One reason would be because not majority of the people here actually post their very own reviews and actually post it in a different place like a blog site. Therefore, we might miss the number of people who are doing that which, in turn, make the appointment void. Second would be because agreeing on who is the best by critiques is subjective. The critique may be objective but the understanding and comprehension of the readers may be subjective. That would make "best" subjective.

Let's move to the latter (anime argument critic). First of all, it is quite hard for someone to actually give out names on who is the best. Assertion of Person A may be created in a magnificent manner - perfect grammar, long tedious post, etc. However, it may be misleading and probably false. Second would be the subjectivity of the argument. Some arguments lies on "who is the best ...", "who is stronger ..." topics that it is plainly subjective. Because it is subjective, it is no longer an argument made by critics. Third would be the dependency of using references. Evidences may be crucial on the arguments but over-doing it may make the argument look like a copy-paste post. I've seen someone who likes using this one but I will never tell who that guy is since he is popular here already in crunchyroll.

There may be problems in giving out who the best critic is in crunchyroll because not only it is subjective, it is also empirical. All of the people you've met are included in your representative; however, the people you've never met which may be supposedly better than the people you've met are not included.

Obviously enough, I don't consider "kids" giving "funny" comments as critics, let alone the best. I may consider people who are the authorities of anime. When I say authorities, I am referring to the anime veterans here in CR. Though unfortunately, I have met a lot of them which are a lot more immature than me. However, I have observed that a lot of people in their 20s in CR give their opinions and critiques a lot more better than the other age group. Anyway, I am still keeping the possibility that they are lying their age.

And do not worry, I am not including the CR points system in this opinion because having a good and a high CR points does not make one a good critic since I have seen a lot of people who are beyond 20,000 points yet violate the forum rules, flame users, suck at grammar, and post biased comments. In the end, violating the rules, flaming users, and sucking at grammar does not make one a good critic except the latter (posting biased comments).

people critic based on what they personally like,
so the critics you will like probably have similar tastes to yourself -

also, the more you critic someting,
the more you won't enjoy it -

so the best critics are probably the people who don't have a personal byast towards liking or disliking anime.

My opinio is that you don't need to be aged ,'cause even kids can critic if they think a little about the anime .It's usually hard to critic about your favotite-favorite anime what mins you have to be always objective what is very hard or in any case if you are a fangirl or even a fanboy it would be hard to critic the animes correctly -it's just my opinion

I guess people who likes all anime genres and those who watched anime since they were kids are good critics.

IMO, those who have 2000 cr points and above:)) or those who have posted 100+ replies. xD

Actually, that doesn't necessarily mean they are a good critic just because they have 2,000 CR Points and more than 100+ replies. Anybody could just easily spam and get that. Even if they didn't spam, that doesn't make them a good critic. They could post ignorant posts with bad grammar, bad punctuations, and all that junk without you even noticing. I've seen MANY users with more than 2000 CR Points, yet their ability to be a 'good critic' is no where close.

Just keep that in mind. (:
