One time, I went back home-where I grew up. And as I was going back, in the road-or little dirt patch

He was standing in front of the, "Welcome to..." sign-pretty damn horrific. He disappeared as I looked closer
at it, horrible thing!

True, it was scary.
The books are always better than the movies.

Once when i was about 7, i had this toy piano thing. Anyway i went to bed one night and i got under the covers and heard the piano start playing a tune that just goes a b c. I got so freaked I jumped out of bed and as soon as i got out of the covers it stopped playing. I went and got my dad but he just said it was probably the neighbors, but it wasn't to me, you know, it sounded like it was coming from my room and actually echoing in my room. Anyway so i got back in to bed and it started playing again. So scary. I got my parents out a couple of times more but when ever I got them to come in the piano will stop playing. Finally I just went up to the piano and closed the lid on it and nothing more played. But gee, I was only little and i was like O_o

i have more that ive seen or heard but they take too long. My house must be haunted.

this is a personal experience

when i was around 7 yrs old i lived in Edmonton ab and sometimes i think about once a month i and my siblings would stay at kids cottage
i was kinda weird unlike a lot of children my age i wasn't scared of the closet or under my bed in fact i actually grabbed a pillow and blanket and slept in those places don't know why i just felt comfortable OK so back to kids cottage one of the times we were staying there i decided to sleep under the crib but it just didn't feel comfortable so when i was about get up something grabbed my leg and started pulling i looked around to see what it was and all i could see was the vent this thing still had hold of me so i grabbed on to one of the legs on the crib pulled my self away i can honestly say i was scared out of my mind and that was the first and last time i ever went under a crib i still slept under the bed and in the closet until i was 14 yrs old

sorry it wasn't the greatest story it was the only experience i could remember at the moment ill post more as i remember

When I was about 4 (in Taiwan), I woke up late at night feeling thirsty. My grandma was asleep, so I slid open our paper screen doors of the bedroom to walk down the hall to the kitchen. I saw a strange translucent thing, almost like a cloud of fog, inching across the ceiling. At first I thought it was smoke, but before I could check for a fire, the cloudy thing moved in a way I knew smoke could not. It shrank and contracted to move, almost like a living creature. I got spooked and turned on the light, but it was gone. I smelled nothing burning, and the doors were closed and locked. No sign of a fire was anywhere. I got my drink and decided I was just my imagination. However, after I turned off the light, I saw the strange cloud creeping down the staircase. I was so scared I couldn't even scream. I just ran back to the room, slid the doors shut, and snuggled with the four sleeping dogs (they slept with my grandma each night). I felt safe around them and managed to get to sleep.

When I was about 9 years old, I went to sleep early one night and woke up, but it was past midnight. I was thirsty so I decided to go downstairs to get a drink and maybe eat some leftovers before going back to sleep. When I went downstairs, I didn't turn on the lights because I knew my way down the steps and to the kitchen. I got to the kitchen, and since moonlight was shining through the windows, I could sort of see. There was this huge man-shaped shadowy...thing behind the kitchen table. It was moving in the most menacing way and I freaked out and turned on the light switch. Nothing was there. I got my drink and forgot about the food. To return upstairs, I exited the kitchen before putting my hand through the doorway to turn off the light. I ran to my room immediately and locked the door.

This one happened to a friend:
She was really tired one day after staying up late to watch cartoons. She was in 3rd grade or so at the time. She woke up as usual for school (around 7). She discovered she couldn't move. It was sleep paralysis of some sort. But to her horror, she felt something moving on top of her. She rolled her eyes down and saw her doll crawling across her chest, so she screamed and her parents came running. After that, she got rid of all her dolls and always made sure no dolls were in her house. Even to this day, she hates dolls.

Few years ago, was in for some camp which took place in a remote area. One of our tasks focused on leadership and teamwork solely. My team consisted of about 6 members, including me. That task brought us deep into a forest (we were led by a ranger). Oh by the way, it was one in the morning. We were given nothing more than a candle and a matchbox with only a few matches contained.

We walked our ways randomly at first, then began to pick specific directions with the clues given (footprints etc). While looking for our way out, we came to a stop right before a slope descending into the darkness. The candle wasn't bright enough to shine down there. Just seconds after that, we saw a figure in white (most probably a lady, since she has long hair) moving towards us. She was clearly above the ground, her white cloth was nowhere near earth. Out of fear, our leader made the decision to descend the slippery slope. We did, and I don't think she followed - I dare not look back. We found our way out after an hour or two, with the help of hints as well as luck.

Don't we need a campfire for this?

Was in a room with a friend, as a window suddenly opened, curtains moved back, chair turned towards us from it's desk position.
Friend sits up straight in his bed, wondering what's going on, sees the changes to the room, not the ghost.
Naturally my reiatsu is stronger, as I saw the actual ghost sitting in the desk chair staring at me.
Friend has goosebumps. Sensed another person but couldn't see a thing.
I recall not to show fear........I know it works on dogs.........and something about speaking backwards.........scooby doo episode..........
So I say ereth uoy era, once softly and once more with a louder tone. The second time she reacted, popped out of the seat as if she did something wrong, curtains close, window closes..........
She looked like ann frank and that woman from the ring had a girl-child and sent her to boarding school. She was pale. Had long black hair and a white dress. Sort of like that maya girl from occult accademy.

Turns out there was a world war 2 cemetary for civilians and a warehouse was built on top of it, right next to the building my friend resided in. This was in 07

I was driving home late Wednesday night in the countryside with my dipped headlights on and fog lights so I could see pretty good, next thing this massive black thing bounds across the road in about 4 strides I could make out red eyes. It was so close to my car I was just like "what the fuck?" but I kept driving as it had made it across without me running it over.
