How did Naruto and Bleach get popular?

I watched both of them, but how did they get popular? They were, like, addicting... and random... But, I'm not saying they're bad anime.

Both had iconic characters,both were based on interesting genres..like ninjas and shinigami's and both of the main characters were pretty annoying and coincidentally,both of them had Orange hair

they are addicting.they got everything to make people like them..they got a nice comedy.VERY good storyline.good graphics(drawing).they also have the unique in them.example bleach no other anime are like that.and naruto who start from little ninja stuff to good mature humor..they probably have more ,but for me they deserve be popular since they are the 2 best of the momment just like dragon ball was =))

Lol? Naruto and Bleach were popular way before it started airing on CN.

It got popular by it being a pretty cool and interesting anime for the first 50-70 episodes. First time Rock Lee dropped his weights and opened five gates was so cool. Same with Ichigo going bankai against Byakuya for the first time.

After that it went downhill with its animation quality and fillers.

hehe i kinda like both of dem and as u said dey were quite rdm ,

propably it strts frm the mangas the author and artist might gave the producer ( or wad u call tt person ) a "BOOM" sorta tot about the entry .
