How did Naruto and Bleach get popular?

i have no idea about Naruto. cause naruto is borin.

I agree. Naruto and Bleach were popular waaay before it started airing on CN.
They were only interesting on the first few episodes though. I don't know who's responsible for it, but prolonging the anime with fillers just made it worse. I haven't watched these 2 classics since God knows when but I was one of a few who were early fans of this shows. Until I heard 3-7 year olds playing in the fields and screaming RHHAA-aa-Shhengan!!!, TwaanfsFOORM and BbbaANGKAY!

I blame Cartoon Network, if people knew what it has become today I don't think they would have watched well I wouldn't have and I can't stop now, they are too dam addictive

But the storyline was very interesting in the beginning but then it kinda got predictable which sucks

they show it late at nigt by cartoon network everything they show on there gets popular, really ._.

I never watched Naruto on cartoon network, I started with the manga - then started dl'ing subbed eps - It's a long story no doubt about it, and yeah sometimes they fall into that dbz mode where one fight against one bad guy lasts 4 episodes but at this point as a fan I just want to make it to the end lol. So I guess I'm stuck with it...but on another note I have never watched bleach...just couldn't get into it.

i agree that some people completly hate them..and most of them who hate naruto is because of the 1st 15episode,the 15 first are really boring i almost quit around 7.after that it finaly getting good..also a reason i think it addictive is cause of the many episode or manga.most anime end at 13 episode or 26.they are good but way less addictive since it end fast.maybe one day if you got time to watch a whole serie.example Hitman reborn,eyeshield 21,one piece,Gundam seed(destiny,to make 100 lol) got 100+ episode are really addictive.the longer serie are.the most you get attach to character.but i dont say short anime dont get attach to character...and for the top they are,they are more then 1 top 10.they are almost in all top 10 (the only i didnt saw them was cause the complete site was "REVOLT" againt it.but most the time there position are 1 and 2 =))

DB's and inuyasha's torch was handed down to 2 animes to take the popular

popularity of these 2 series just reflects the decline in intelligence of the population. Think about what type of ppl can draw pleasure from watching naruto. It is made of fillers, hardly any episodes are directly relevant to the main plot if there is 1 in the 1st place. Bad art, bad animation, lack of creativity. basically what u get is a series about dumb ass ugly retarded kids trying to be ninjas by wearing an orange suit or other crap

yeah..i'm also wondering...naruto and bleach both started to be just like any animes...but i think naruto is cool 'cause of the friends thing between him and sasuke and now they're killing each other...bleach is cool 'cause it brings new things to anime..hehe

people grew up watching it, like dbz.
