^Thanks. Now that I've seen it, I agree even more with my previous post. "Now you're not going to get to see him, because you're going to jail. Not smart."...

Oh and yeah, it did sound like a really bad headline to me. Kinda lurid and demagogic. The kinda stuff tabloid headlines are made of.

….Hmmm.. Now that I’ve seen a slightly less edited version I think I really hate that officer…

The video I saw had been cut down a bit… For one it didn’t show the long gap that the women waited while the officer took his sweet friking time… She just sped off like…10 seconds after he got off the screen.

None the less, my opinion isn’t that much changed. Though, seeing how he slammed her on the back of the car so roughly I think he should’ve had some kind of punishment.

None the less, police are not paid to be human. I like the suggestion that he should’ve taken her up to see her father on his own and then arrested her…

But, one other piece of information that this version of the recording revealed is that she didn’t even know if her father was there… Umm… All that for a friking “he might be there, and if he is I wont get to see him, but I’ll get to be in the same building with him. If he’s there…” Seriously. If the woman cannot control her emotions then she should loose her driver’s license.

A final note: Men act like that too.

I think that both the cop and the lady were wrong...but If it was my mom (I can't drive yet but if i could) I would rush over as fast as i can...I mean, we don't even know the conditions of the woman's father...If he was really really sick I would side for the lady BUT we know nothing about the cop (like waht if he lives paycheck to paycheck) then I would side with the cop...

I think that they were both wrong in ways. I can understand the woman's point of view, but her father was probably in no condition to see her anyway, and even if he was, she was hysterical, and wouldn't help the situation at all. The cop could've handled the situation better and tried to calm her down more, but he did the right thing in stopping a dangerous driver in the area around a hospital especially.

i agree n i think that the cop is right its her fault getting all hysterical bout it

i admit, he could have escorted her to wherever her dad was and handled the ticket later, but he was doing his job

i'd have done the same thing he did. then again, this is comin from someone who was suspended indefinitely.

im completely on the officer's side. this woman should be allowed to race through a city and endanger other because she had a personal issue? shit, it's not even like her dad was in the car with her, that'd be a different story. she was just a frantic cunt who thought she had risen above and beyond. i probably wouldnt have given her a ticket. i'd probably just tell her to slow it down then follow her to the hospital. but once she tried to drive away, i'd have ripped that sluts door off. you do not drive away from a cop. ever.

I'm more on the cop's side than that woman's. I watched the video, and while she did wait a while for the ticket, why couldn't she have waited a little more, then gone to see her father. She didn't even know if he was at that hospital! The cop behaved professionally when pulling her over and writing her up, but she drove away in the process. I would be just as upset as him having to chase her down. As for the roughness, he could have been gentler, but how do you deal with a hysterical person in not so great control of a car? I don't think the woman was thinking clearly, but the cop did his job when arresting her (though he didn't need to taunt her).

Its not like her father was in the car dying of a heart attack, she didnt need to go so quickly to see him, and that officer could have used less force when subdoing her...

Also in Illinois toay, a man was charged with three counts of assulat/battery with a weapon which is a class 1 felony (class 4 is the lowest) what happened was there was an argument with two guys at a gas station, he pulls out a gun a shots ONLY once and pierces the guys arm, the bullet then passes through another guy's arm and then grazes the back of a third guy, so basically 1 shot became three counts XD that guy is screwed...

there was a similar case i saw where a woman in the back seat was having trouble breathing and a police officer the driver was speeding. he told the driver to obey the speed limit and he even watched the driver go the speed limit. by the time they got to the hospital she was dead and the officer was fired.

For this case the father was in the hospital being treated for the heart attack and the lady had no right to go crazy and the officer did the right thing she did break some laws by not listening. the officer didnt deserve it. they're duty is to protect and serve. its kind of stupid though he did what he was supposed to do and got suspended, but if he didnt do anything then they still would've fucked him over saying he didnt do his job.

look the guy was just doing his bloody job for christ sakes, you cant knock him for it really.....well ok he could have been a little more sympathetic and maybe escorted her to the hospital himself and given her a ticket then, but she was histerical and allowed her emotions to get a hold of her, but then agian if someone you really cared about was having a heart attack wouldnt you be panicking and reacting in a simular way? i would........to be honest the whole situtation was just totally blown out of proportion cause the lady couldnt carm her ass down and just go along with the dude......

Im with the police officer with this because she was acting like a lunitic. So If she just got the ticket and went to see her father then none of theis would have happen but she was a luny....The Police Officer should not be suspended!
