- The dining table has to be filled with a lot of food (and round-shaped fruits) to wish that hunger won't be a lifetime problem for the family.
- Of course, we can't forget to setting off and go wild with our fireworks [hopefully, we don't cause any huge fire or loose any fingers... except Flanders]. We do these not only to clearly welcome the new year, but also to drive out bad luck, lost souls, and evil spirits.
