Oh man, it had to be when I played the original super mario bros for NES on an emulator. It was like zoning out into paradise for a couple of hours. Never again had I had that experience.

Playing this FPS and running to the enemies area. Killed 6 people within 3 seconds apart and got an achievement out of it. :)

And then I died.

Shenmue and Shenmue 2 are my favorite games of all time. But I played them on Dreamcast and Xbox. So I would say my favorite PC experience is Jedi Outcast.

Wait computer game or games in general, since you mentioned Dreamcast I'm assuming you meant gaming in general.

I tried to get my friend to play Fear, since I already knew some of the surprises, I got annoyed because he had this habit of turning away and closing his eyes when he opened doors. A 21 year old male who can't even look at a computer game is a very sad sight. He screamed like a girl the first time he saw the girl in one of those long hallway scenes -.-

One of the best moments I had was playing Gears of War 1 co-op, first time for me and my friend and we met the berserker the second time. You're supposed to run out the building. We turn a corner thinking we're safe but we're in a long hallway. He tells me "I hope he can't like bust through the wa-" and before he finishes the berserker bust through the wall immediately right of him and sent him flying.

Computer!
I would say Xcom AKA Ufo: Enemy Unknown
the reason is because its the only old game that really WoWed me. Its old but surprisingly very deep, simple , full of tactics and when you get past the alien things its very realistic.

World of Warcraft and Freelancer take it away as being the best PC games (in my opinion). Freelancer was just an epic space-ship game. Made by Digital Anvil and published by Microsoft, it has a never-ending epic story, epic fighting system, pretty much epic everything. If I could, I would give it 6/5 stars. I wish Digital Anvil would make a sequel, it was such an awesome game. You gotta admit, it looks great for something that was made from 1999-2003. Rating: 9.2/10 I recommend this game for anybody who's looking for fun game play and a very nice story.
