Sigh, I think I've been watching too many unrequited love stories lately...

I wish the final episode would be more angsty, like the manga. I can't believe all that overflowing chemistry between Yuuki and Zero came down to nothing - I agree, it's such a big old waste. I really would have preferred to have them share their farewell kiss, instead of Yuuki drinking Zero's blood and realize his feelings for her.

Matsuri Hiro is being too cruel to Zero (at least for now), he has sacrificed way too much (his family, life, love) and in the end everything he's given up for isn't reciprocated at all. Instead, the only thing that he's been dearly holding on to - Yuuki - ends up with Mr Perfect who always gets his way without lifting a finger. Spending the rest of your life hunting your love isn't exactly something that can shower you with rainbows and sunshine and unicorns.

And Rido's death was too instantaneous - it actually made me laugh. I think if the scenes of the Night Class students had been cut short a little bit and more time was spent on explaining some other questions that were not answered, the finale wouldn't be as screwed up as it was.

I respect wat u've said...but i wanna add smthn
u forgot that kaname couldn't kill Rido...cuz Rido is the one who revived him...ok u might be right he did use zero when it came to this matter...but zero gained powers...he became stronger !! didnt her ?Plus zero twin bro asked zero to kill rido to0 !! so0 i dont think zero did it for Yuukis sake only...Plus !! kaname did help zero....actually he distracted Rido so0 that zero can kill him...and the way zero lost his family...kaname did to0 !! so0 Matsuri Hino wasnt being cruel to anyone...on the other hand...zero couldn't accept and live with the fact that Yuuki is a vampire herself...its not like it was her fault...she never knew her past...anyways i do love zero alo0ot and i do respect ur feelings...=)

he's the best..

he knew how yuuki loved her brother so what he did was to let yuuki drink his blood so that yuuki would always be reminded of him and that she would also know his true feelings for her..

he couldnt tell his feelings so he did it..she would have a vision of zero's feelings through it..

my opinion

Yeah maybe.. and also so he can see through reality that she's a vampire
and so he can stay away and not meddle between her and Kaname

well said princessa77! To miss _kowalski: zero didn't "sacrifice" his family(refer to 1.).sacrifice means to give up something for the sake of accomplishing something else. even though he did sacrifice his love and life(refer to 2. and 3.)....
1.His family was killed by shizuka when he was young, so if his family is no longer here, what is there to sacrifice?
2.he could choose to leave behind his hatred for vampires to be with yuuki, but he didn't. this is his problem, its just his choice.
3.yes, he sacrificed his life, but this is because he couldn't accept his own fate and decided to kill all the vampires in the world.

you can say that matsuri hino made zero have alot of sacrifices, but if she didn't make him sacrifice so much will u even feel pity for zero?would u still support him like u do now?i know that kaname is very scheming but he did it to protect yuuki. and he watched something that he loved so much forget everything of her past with him for 10years. he has been waiting for her for 10 years, all lonely, don't u think its worth some pity?(i am not a fan of either guys but i really cannot stand it when ppl get subjective to their fav character. :sweatingbullets:)

Personally, instead of thinking that hino was cruel, i think shes a pretty good author! she made alot of ppl love her manga(plus she made ppl love her manga so much that they put their own personal feelings into this story)

Thanks for taking my point too literally.

Oh Iet's see - Zero's parents were killed by a pureblood vampire, his twin brother sided with the very enemy who murdered his family to destroy Zero's life asunder because of something that he couldn't control, he's gradually losing your sanity and humanity because he was bitten by an avenging pureblood, and his love rival is the last one remaining of the bloodline of the vampire who massacred his family. Surely he has the right to have that tiny little grudge of his, don't you think?

Zero's life was wrecked when he was barely a teenager, and coming from a vampire hunter family - nurtured and trained to kill - I don't think it's mind-boggling for him to have a chip on his shoulder or finding it difficult to erase the past with vampires or to commit a pureblood genocide. If you were in his shoes, when your life started to crumble left and right because of vampires and you had the means and the honed skills to kill them, would you just stand back and let yourself be a ventriloquist dummy again?

Yuuki chose Kaname based on her own decision, but Cross Yuuki and Kuran Yuuki are different - Yuuki implied so in the latest chapter in the manga (one part of her is absorbing the other more and more) Even if Zero were to accept the pureblood Yuuki, the new Yuuki with regained memories would've still chosen Kaname because that's her so-called 'destiny' - which is why I still stand by the fact that Matsuri Hino is being unfair to Zero.

And I don't think the magnitude of pity towards Kaname when he was "all lonely" when Yuuki was still human remotely matches Zero's misfortune. In my view, the difference is colossal. Kaname is powerful and always gets his way, everybody obeys and fears him - even when Yuuki was human, she put him on a pedestal and harbored feelings for him based on her ideals of Kaname. To say he was lonely for 10 years is an overstatement. Granted, after much pressings from Yuuki to know her past, he awakened her as his fiance and his life was complete, after much deliberate manipulation.

I don't support a character based on a fact that I find him more pitiable than the other. That's too much of an oversimplification and I think you know it too.

I have a life and I'm well aware that VK is just an anime and the characters are fictitious - but yeah, that's my rebuttal.

I seriously doubt it's gonna happen. Yuuki had already chose Kaname and right now they're on their own. Zero STILL can't accept the true fact that Yuuki is a pureblood. Right now, he's on his own and may soon kill all the purebloods. In conclusion-- Zero is a vampire hunter.

hmm put it this way
Kaname fans are over joyed cause there precious Kaname got his little happy ever after.
Yet at the same time they just can't seem to STOP themselves form qutong ppl and commenting
" not going to happen" and give a long long explaination.

&& Yah, Zero fans aren't happy, that's why they defend him when such people do quote.

Only natural.
