Do you consider a celebrity's attitude or manners when it comes to admiring them and becoming their fan?

absolutely.

it does matter but...

they don't need to be saints.
the fact that they can handle every issues that has thrown at them seems to be a good attitude for me. I could care less.
the manner, the gesture -- a great celebrity knows how to establish his own identity by not looking what the society dictates him to be.

no one stays longer in the industry just by being good :)
whatever bad publicity came, it is still publicity

well, i love joe cheng... hes a really good actor because his personality in ISWAK is totally different from what he is really like! and i do love his personality .
to me, if they have a good personality, then they are amazing, if they are good at acting, the i appreciate them for their talent...

hum well yes and no first comes talent and all then the rest for me ... for example
at first i didnt really like SNSD then i started to like them a bit (well not all of them i dont think i know any of their songs ..anyway ) then when i found out how they really are being the scenes and all i started to dislike them .... i mean of course when you start liking celebs you dont really know who they really are so obviously you like them for who they are on stage right.....

another ex: seungri from Big Bang( love them) i didnt know he was soo confident in himself and all but its soo cute i started liking him more for that he brags alot about himself on variety shows hes soo adorable.

hello every body i'm a new moroccan member here, and i wanted to comment about the questions that u asked above, well as far as i'm conserning , the attitude of the actor or the actress affects my point of view about them, for exempl when i saw lee jun ki for the first time in My girl i was really touched by his look and talent but what made me really fan of him and adore him too much , is the way that he treats his fans and how he takes care of them by organizing big fanmeetings and many things, that's right he is famous, good looking and loved every where even by people here in my country ,and many arab countries that don't speak or understand korean language, but he stills modest , nice and close to his fans, not like the american actors and others that mind only on the red carpet and journalists

I think it depends on how you admire them. If I admire them as an idol...then yes, looks and personality do matter. However if i admire them as an actor or actress, then their attitudes matter less because i like their acting. Of course being professional and having a good attitude makes a good bonus!

I'm trying to think of one. But on the top of my head I can't; usually I don't listen to all the gossip; I find it pretty boring.

YES!..of course it does...
just like rainie yang (to me) i always thought she was such a sweet angel and sooooo cute! i loved her!
but then i started hearing and seeing those "rude" comments she says and does, and then her innocent just kind of wasn't there anymore for me...*shrug*....and i saw a picture of Danson Tang steping someone who fell over ..i was kind of shock
but i guess if you were surround by a lot of people and had someone pulling you hurry i guess..we dont really know the whole story

depends on how you admire them, if you love them alot that you want to get to know more about them, then yeah you would consider ther attitude and manners, personality and such. But if you're like, as long as they can act/sing, i could care less. But for most people, it DOES matter.

It would hard to judge them as a person but I would like them for their talents. Only if you met them in real life, you can make up your own mind.
