It amuses me to no end

it is seriously the funniest anime i have ever seen.. I laughed out loud during every single episode.. favorite character is kagura.. SO funny and soo cute..

I never finished it, but it made me ROFL. I had a good time watching every episode. It has its ROFL moments and also its real storyline (which is a bit draggy)

Because it's funny, can be dramatic, and has butt kicking characters. What else is there? It's like 3 shows combined.

Yea I agree the episodes that connect are one of the best in the series.
There are some episodes that do feel like fillers
But all in all, Gintama is one of the better animes out there when it comes to complete utter comedic randomness



I've only watched about 42 episodes of Gintama so far, but from what I've seen, I can tell you that there isn't going to be much adrenaline pumping action; however, it is an anime that'll make you laugh if you like that kind of comedy. The anime do have some touching episodes, and the storyline is basically about the lives of the main characters and the people around them. It is good though, you just need to give it a try =) Also, you'd need some patience to get over the first few episodes that are somewhat dull compared to the other ones in my opinion.

If you do want a very funny anime to watch that has adrenaline pumping action, go watch One Piece!
For One Piece as well, the first few episodes needs patience but after you get into it, it's good.
It also has a nice storyline.

I love Gintama because I have never laughed so hard while watching an anime. Every episode is great and entertaining. I also love the action and the random moments. I personally think that the random topics keep the anime fresh and prevents it from becoming repetative. I believe that I will never become tired of it.
