Hey! Just because FFX has the most make-out scenes, doesn't make it the most romantic of the series. And FFVII has plenty of the most irritating lovemaps, what with Aerith and her apparent fetish for men who weild large butcher blades and Cloud being a two-timer (and a poof, at that).

I'd say Squall and Rinoa make the best couple in Final Fantasy, ever. I dig the whole Squall-Rinoa-Seifer thing. (Seifer, the enemy's name, if I'm right.) And you can never beat their Opposites Attract/ "I Promise" tagline Partnership.

FFX of course, well, in my perspective. Has romance written all over it. And! Is all throughout the game. <3

Final Fantasy X. Its my favourite game of all time!
I'm worried the newer ones wont have a decent love story. I mean XII was good, really liked the combat system but the story lacked that little romance for me.

I would say FF8 with squal and rinoa..
but FF10 is also romantic :D

Zidane & Garnet~

probably 7 or 10

If we can count in Advent Children for FF7 then its 7 hands down.
Otherwise its 8

Arggggh the love triangle was irritating me at first but you have a point That was my favorite couple scene.

As for the cute couple,definitely Garnet and Zidane the playboy. The scene where Zidane cops a feel while climbing the airship ladder was hilarious.

To be honest though, I don' t feel like any of the Final Fantasies really tried hard to do justice on the topic of love other than FFX (which I really can't say I enjoyed). I mean they made a sequel about a woman chasing her love whom for all she knows could've never feasibly reappeared in her world. Frustrating

i agree with darcmonkey 10 was more centered over romantic storyline but i still lyk 7, 8, & 9 too.

Final Fantasy X is the most romantic. As far as I can remember, it's the only FF game with a romance scene that lasted about 6 minutes, which is long for a cutscene. Besides, TIdusxYuna is also one of my favorite FF pairings <3

Final Fantasy VII but Final Fantasy VI comes pretty close though.

FFVII Clould and Aerith (Tifa is so annoyed) let these two be together...
