and the trailer movie was great and romantic..

I dun like crisis core ending.. zack died

A spoiler alert wouldn't have hurt.

We already knew Zack died and we knew what time period Crisis core covered come on....

Final Fantasy VIII has my favorite romance in the FF series easily. Rinoa and Squall = Epic Win

FFX wasn't very romantic as much as a struggle to choose between life, and following ones heart

Anyways, I say FF Tactics and FF9. The Tidus/Yuna thing in FF10 seemed just a little bit forced/rushed to me, slightly artificial. Even though it was more apparent than the rest of the games.

Final Fantasy VI

The whole Locke wanting to resurrect Rachel thing, Celes and Locke, and the Daryl and Setzer thing, and the opera. There's a lot more too, besides that.

To me Final Fantasy 8 had the best romance story. Mostly because the characters actually changed and grew because of it. Final Fantasy 10 had the most emotional scenes, Macelenia Woods and when she shakes her head no and runs through him, but in the end they were both basically the same person. Special points go to the amazing writing in Final Fantasy 7 though. Based off of who you go on a date with changes the meanings of certain scenes.

VIII or X because they were made just for a love story really. The other characters did not get as much screen time.

I would give a honorable mention to VI for a lot of its love themes, but the game was not focused on just romance. Which is why I still call it the best Final Fantasy.

As much as I like the Final Fantasy series I've never really felt much of a romantic tale was being told in any of them assuming we are using the love based meaning of romance. If I was pressed I would suppose 4 would have to be it as the love story didn't seem like some plot out of a Harlequin or get bogged down by some random out of no where plot point such as it did in 8.
