Yes, in volleyball. The easiest way to score if the opponent has good coverage is to shove the ball onto someone's face.

are we talking about getting hit by a ball in the face? well, it happened to me. don't know how many times.

<--not the athlete type

games, the last time i played DOTA (I stopped for almost a year. I'm having my masters now) we, the adults, were owned by high school students. I know its kinda okay since high school students have more practice than us but deep inside we felt really embarassed

hahaha dudeee, the best DOTA players are adults meaning over 18 and legally listed as adults. jus check the ages of team MYM (meet your makers) http://www.mymym.com/en/players.html
MYM is a professional DOTA squad and they are one of the best in the World.
True there are alot of good DOTA players that are teens, but they arent as good as the pros. Theres a scientific reason for this and that during ur teenage years, the prefrontal cortex, the area of your brain that makes logical decisions isnt fully myelinated yet. Myelin is the covering on your neurons, the lack of which causes crappy signaling, so the dearth of myelination in that area forces them to make subpar decisions in terms of logic. Therefore in true strategy games adults>teens, such as in DOTA.
BE PROUD!!!! hahahaha
I'm not a pro and im still sorta a "teen" but i play in a semi-pro DOTA league called TDA originated in the dota-allstars.com website community. And i have to agree with the science behind this because I also used to play starcraft competitively from about 13, i started when the game came out tho. I can assure you that my best years were the later ones, during which i played for Team USA, and a couple sponsored teams.
Yea, im a geek its cool xD.

wow. didnt know there was a deep science behind DOTA or RTS games. LOL
anyway, in the amateur level, i think high school students are still better than adults who already finished school. I guess school means more gametime. But if you will ask me, high school student vs college student, i think its already decided. I agree with you that we have the advantage of decision making.

Come to think of it, they tend to run every clash
