Well, if you guys have noticed at the start of the opening song of Skip Beat, you can see a monument-like structure with L-O-V-E written on it...right?

well, i just found out that in real life, there is really a building - i'm not sure where - that has that monument!!! exactly the same with what we see in the opening song of Skip Beat!

my question is...does anybody know what's the name of the building that has that monument? and where exactly can you see it? i only saw a picture of it (a real picture-coz a bunch of music VJs were taking a pic with that monument in the background) from a music video somewhere and its exposure time was so short that i think it lasted about 3 seconds...

but i was able to clearly see that it was exactly the same with what we see in Skip Beat...

so if any of you guys happen to know the name of the building and where it is exactly located, i'm very much grateful...

hey! i just found a picture of the LOVE monument/statue i was talking about before!

i personally think that there isn't only one statue that looks like this in the entire world...this pic is taken from taipei, taiwan...and i also saw another picture with the LOVE statue in philadelphia too...perhaps i should revise my question...where else can you see this statue other than from the places i've mentioned? thanks...^^

Okay the real story about the 'Love' statue can be found here:

http://www.tvrage.com/shows/id-19619/show_tidbits/

There's a great picture of the real statue used in the opening sequence. The statue is located in West Shinjuku, Tokyo, Japan and if you look at the picture in the above link you can see it's exactly the same (down to the trees in the background, just at a different angle.) The statue in question is a copy of the original (one of many). The original is a famous landmark in JFK Park, Philadelphia, Pa. USA.

The "Love" Statue:

In the (1st) opening sequence of the show the camera pans over a statue of the word love much like the original landmark statue by Robert Indiana located in John F. Kennedy Park in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The statue that appears in the credits represents one of the many copies located in cities all over the world, including the one in West Shinjuku District, Tokyo, Japan, which is the one featured in the credits.

Incidentally this was the very first thing I picked up on when the series first came out, being from the area of the original, I recognized the statue right away.

wow...thanks for the info!!!

your answer is added in my "best answers list"! (it's only a thought...i'm not really making a list...ahahaha!!!)

but seriously, i really like your answer!!! you even gave me a link to read an article about it...really, i owe you one!!! hehehe^^

The word Love in the same exact font also appeared on US postal stamps and to this day the most popular of the stamps printed.

Allow me, this is local history for me: The original LOVE statue popart was built by --unknown-- in Indianapolis, Indiana. Since then, the artist and his work became famous, so millions of towns all over the world have their own LOVE statue now.
