I completly agree with you. I find it rather disgusting how most people today complain when an anime gets liscenced. Ya know I rather enjoy it cause I speak english and I like watching anime in subs and all but I speak english and I feel much more comfortable watching something in the language I grew up with. I watched all of Soul Eater and the subs go by rather quickly I have to pause to see what they are saying sometimes and it gets annoying, because I am a fan of Soul Eater I am all kinds of excited for the release. And yes there is an option on each DVD where you can change the dialouge to Japanese. So to all you non-Otaku's but Wapanese out there, yes you can still watch it in Japanese when it is liscensed, Boo hoo cry me a river that your favorite anime is making money. The anime industry is dying because of people downloading anime off the internet and not supporting it by buying it. I rather dislike people who do not support anime and claim they are an Otaku. Oh and Btw I think Wendy Powell, which is the Voice actress of Envy from FullMetal Alchemist would make a wonderful Medusa.

i bet you watch in websites -_- hypocrite

It seems that mentioning the bashing has lead people to do the opposite and essentially bash the non-existent bashers
Regardless of that it seems like good news, don't normally like the dubs but I guess we'll least I can get proper DVD's

I read that and it actually made sense I didn't know what anime really was until me and my friend watched Rurouni Kenshin online and when she let me borrow her DVDs since then I preview anime via fansubs or through legal sites like Cr, Funi, Hulu, and Joost and if I like the series well enough I buy and support the series.

I'm so excited for the dub! I cant wait till they announce the VAs! I hope theyre good.

As for the legal/illegal debate, I do watch my anime illegally like most anime fans do, subbed, dubbed, hell I even watched french subs cuz I was desperate, but atleast I buy the animes I like even if I watched it all online.

I do watch on websites, how else would I of seen Soul Eater. I do not dislike the fact anime is online to watch I just dislike the fact so many people plainly just watch it online and do not buy it. Then when an anime becomes liscensed everyone complains about the fact their favorite anime is making money..=/. When I watch anime on the internet I judge if I like it or not and if I like it I watch the entire series then buy it when I can. Take Soul Eater for example I am happy about it's english release in November.

As I mentioned to the other person Anime on the internet does not upset me, I watch anime online myself. I just don't like the fact people are ruining the industry bye not byeing it anymore. If you find an anime online and you like it you should buy it, the same thing happend with the music industry. A lot of Voice actors are upset about the same thing I am as I witnessed when going to last years Otakon.
