Grandparents

I live with my Grandmother and sometimes she can be mean as hell. The stereotypes of the nice Grandmother that bakes you pie and feeds you cookies is over-rated But at times she can be ok, do you know of any other Grandmother's that play video games and fix computers? I sure don't

I had good and bad times with my grandparents ._.
good : when my grandpa tried to learn my english name (I was 5) it was a fun day (cant remember what happened) but I know I had fun :] they gave me lots of food

bad : when my school called my grandparents when I needed to go home but they didn't know who I was even though I talked to them myself and told them my english name, chinese name, parent's name..........I was stuck in school when I was having major cramps / stomach ache

I lived with my grandfather on my mother's side for 4 years. He kicked me out because his new wife convinced him while they were on vacation in Florida. They used the excuse that I didn't have a job.
Now I'm living with my father's parents and I don't even have a room. And I'm stuck pretty well babysitting my younger brother of 2 years. He has anger issues and throws tantrums like a 3 year old child. He's currently throwing one now. And he wonders why no one wants him around. Try yelling and breaking things a little less, and maybe you wouldn't be stuck in this predicament.

My mother's father and his wife are over religious. And my father's parents are alcoholics and do nothing but bitch and complain. I'm quite indifferent to either side.

My grandpa bought me a shirt for my birthday, that had to holes in the front that fit my chest perfectly. I decided to wear it so the holes were on my back. I think that's how you're suppose to wear it anyway ....

Oh I guess Im' stereotyping my grandma's, because they do cook me stuff, but it's more like they cook me cakes, than cookies and pies. And they're always nice to me, even when I burn out my grandma's lighter or matches, so she can't smoke. I also love their cooking, and they're soo sweet. I love them so much. Thank goodness, they're coming next year.

I am their only grandchild besides my two little cousins so it's like, 'yay, we love ALL THREE of you!!' Even my grandfather on my mom's side is crazy over the two little babies, and me too.

But sometimes my grandma on my mom's side acts like the weird grandmother from '16 Candles' and will say things like, "I can see your bra through your shirt", and "you're matching your makeup with your clothing too much." She means well...I guess. I like them though. A lot. I'm just not emotional, which bothers everyone in my family but thankfully not my grandparents. Weird...

My grandparents on my mom's side live 10 minutes away, and for a long time they used to actually live with us, so I see them a lot I love them lol they're so funny.

I never really got to know my grandparents on my dad's side because they lived in India. My grandpa died, but my grandma is still there and I think she's planning to visit soon.

I only met my mom's mom. She is still alive. I don't recall any memories as of now. My moms dad died years ago. I don't remember my dad's dad or dad's mom.

I'm not really that close to my mom's parents... all I pretty much know is that my grandpa on my mom's side is a former marine and he likes to cook/bake (he's good at it too) and my grandma likes to drink

On my dad's side, my grandpa died when i was 9, he had all these kinds of sicknesses so i wasn't very close to him...
I remember when we went to their house my grandma had to feed him using the tube in his stomach then she would pump liquid food in him :[ it was quite depressing really...

then my grandma(we call her Mama Aurie), she can be the most evil controlling old lady ever D: she pushes everyone to do what she wants...
and she smokes a lot(same with my dad, they're both heavy smokers) , the smoking doesn't really bother me a lot though since i'm pretty much use to it even though i know second hand smoking can really screw up my immune system. Although she can be all kinds of evil, she can be ok sometimes i guess, she lets me drink alcohol and stuff

My mom's dad died when I was very young, but I remember that he was very kind to me. He would always do sweet little things to surprise me or save curious things to show me. Like puppies or an especially long column of bananas or a newborn goat.

When my dad's dad had a stroke sometimes he would forget people's names. When I was younger my mom cut my hair really short when I went to see him in India and I hated it, but apparently my face was exactly like how my dad's was when he was little. My grandfather thought I was him...so I pretended to be my dad for a little while and my grandfather talked to me like he would talk to my dad when he was little. I think he remembered who I was after a while because he thanked me. I felt happy that I made him smile because it was the last time I saw him before he died.
