Huh, watching the trailer it doesn't look like they're changing much, which is good.
And it says it's rated TV-14 on the side, so they're probably not editing/watering stuff down so American kids aren't traumatized by everything we already know about anyway.
The guy narrating sounded way too serious though.
I love that right when he said 'they never lose sight of their ultimate goal,' it showed a few scenes of Kid losing sight of his ultimate goal because something wasn't symmetrical.

i think it is extremely stupid to do the cease and desist thing for all sites that have soul eater. most people can't even get funimation. it's not fair. and the dubbing is going to suck like every other dubbed anime. dubbing anime is just stupid. if you're to too lazy to read subtitles there's no point in watching it. its "Japanese" anime, not "English" anime. idiots.

oh gosh. just watched the promotion video on the funimation site. that was TERRIBLE! they're gonnna take one of the best Japanese animes and screw it up.

I really don't mind dubs. I just hate when it's the same voices over and over again.

i don't really care that they're dubbing it. i already have the japanese dvds. plus the subs are better than most of the dubbed versions, though i'll watch either one...unless the dubbing is just really crappy.
all i want is for them to keep it as close to the original and get good voice actors for the charaters. funimmtion is pretty good at dubbing animes so it should come out ok i think
