As some of you may know, we are starting 2009 with fresh and promising changes.

Over the past year, we've learned a lot about how our favorite shows are created, and the hard work and tremendous resources put into making top-notch shows. We learned that it's important to work with the creators, so that's what we're planning to do in 2009. I hope you guys will choose to watch shows on crunchyroll rather than other sites because cr is one of the only places to watch legitimate anime, dramas, etc online!

By watching your favorite shows on cr, you are doing the right thing and directly supporting the creators. Furthermore, by purchasing an Anime Membership, you will be encouraging these creators to put even more shows on cr

Crunchyroll has just completed the first steps of its revolution by removing user-uploaded videos and replacing them with high quality professional videos directly from the show creators . We now have over 25 top-tier publishers providing over 130 titles and over a thousand episodes for cr! Check out our January lineup. I know there are some geo and quality restrictions, but we always ask for as much rights in the best quality possible as we can so everyone worldwide can enjoy, but this might take some time so pls bear with us!

For those of you wondering where all your favorite shows went, we wanted to respect the wishes of the creators by asking for their permission before putting it on cr. I know it sucks for it to disappear so quickly, but trust me, we're working extra hard to get permission to bring them all back! This was a necessary step in order for cr to move forward and for the creators to be more willing to work with us. We can now do so and get the best shows to put on our site!

There's tons of more shows we're going to put up in January and beyond, stay tuned for more exciting news! =D

Happy new year peeps. Who gives a damn that all the user uploaded anime is going away we still have the news ones that are coming. Kinda surprised that he got a lot of companies to come to CR. Crazy shinji. Bet your like stalking the companies and making them stream anime on here for us so CR wont be shut down. Haha go have a great year.
