Oh yeah, it's definitely horrible and inhuman for us not to want that to happen.

At the point where a guy is actively thinking about this and acting upon it, he has already abandoned his trust in his own girlfriend. Same goes for girls, though.

I was suggesting it's a good thing if they do. It simply becomes an obsession for some guys .. and girls .. to worry about this.

I know what you meant, but your choice of words was just awful. Doesn't fit a straight line, much less sarcasm.

I always feel like everytime there's a dude w/ his gf, I have to avoid being seen by her. I've just had enough of those moments when you take a look at their gf and they give you a long look (sometimes dirty look) and then they stray off to another path. I mean I would probably be protective of my gf, but not to that extent because that's just straight up being insecure.

Insecure enough to avoid approaching her when she's talking to another guy. That should be the best time to hug, no? Security has many meanings, it's not all about trust or doubt, just like the world isn't black and white.

Oh no, think you're reading it wrong. I always feel like I have to avoid being seen by the gf just to comfort the over-protective bfs. I guess it's a learned reflex from all those times I've received looks from bfs screaming "don't screw this one for me."

Oh yeah, totally read it wrong. I get what you're saying. I'd probably do the same.

Anything

I think, people live on instincts. We prowl among the people we want in our lives, and sometimes we'll do anything to make sure that they stay in our lives..

People that spark deep feelings within you is often depicted as love, I feel when I find people like that, I can get easily jealous or angry.
It all comes down to controlling it and understanding the other person in a deeper level then anyone else. In order to do that, comes trust and forgiveness above all else. if you truly believe that person is right for you.

If you're not sure if they are right for you, don't force it.
If they aren't you'll find out sooner or later. No need to be over-protective about it.

But who knows, I hear love makes you do crazy things.

There is no answer to this question. It all depends on the factor and what they are being protective of their gf for. The human mind wants, and needs things by their side, Being protective is just a common thing for males to do. There are also females that are protective, but you don't see it very often.

Insecure little man. Do you know how stupid it looks when you're trying to make sure every guy on the planet knows that you and your girl friend are together? tool.

Cuz guys are guys, and that's what we're like. And it's not just our girlfriends we're protective of.. other things include our food or territory that we consider ours
