Note: This poll/post is a response to the mass deletion of fansub animes in Crunchyroll's anime inventory.

I can't help but feel that Crunchyroll has been taken over by anime industries like Gonzo. IT seems like Gonzo has infiltrated Crunchyroll and took over it from within. The first contact was apparent in 2007 with the introduction of the Tower of Druaga. Slowly they gained more and more influence over Crunchyroll to a point where they usurped Shinji as the ruler of Crunchyroll. Now Gonzo has taken control of Crunchyroll from within, which I think was their original goal. Rather than destroying Crunchyroll( which would just push fans to another site) they are now regulating the most popular anime site so now they have control of what we watch. They probably will now try to give us some anime to distract us from the really good anime out there. To be honest, I have been quite unaware of a lot of the new animes out there everysince Crunchyroll had been erasing a lot of new animes. Soon those who are distracted will only rely on Crunchyroll( which is now corrupt) and be deprived of the really good stuff.

My solution?:
My solution is to just move to a new anime site or to create a New anime central but very very private. A site that can not be found on Google or Yahoo. A totally secret anime heaven. The only way to know of the site is through friends who recommend the site. Do not spread the word online. Only tell your friends and not strangers regardless of how much they beg. Keep it private and let it spread among anime fans nation wide. This way, hopefully, an anime corporate administrator will never hear of it and not be able to ban it. Of course if someone does decide to make a site like this, please let me be the first to be notified so I can tell my friends.

Who knows, one day someone might actually do this and then the site actually might become a legendary myth. An unknown site that has all the anime anyone could actually want to watch for free. Anime corporations might even send spies to try to find the name of the site. (LoL). Someone should make an anime out of this. (LoL)

Also if anyone is going to make a site like this, please post this on the site.
(this would somewhat be the origins of the site)-as a rebellion against corrupted Crunchyroll.

Now, feel free to laugh and criticize what I just wrote.
(Heck, I am laughing at what I just wrote)

lol i agree with you enough. but the new anime site things sounds like Fightclub, and it didnt stay that private lol.

Maybe the first poll option is a bit too harsh, but i completely disagree with the other options and my opinion is close enough to that of the first choice, so i picked the first choice =D

Shinji calls them 'Partnerships' and it was for the better but thats a load of crap lol. we got the anime delivered hot and fresh on our doorsteps, and a lot of it, before this 'partnership'. And not all of it was as illegal as some put it to be. Theres still are plenty of unlicensed anime out there.

why? its not like its solely about anime, its generally about how CR is being run now and how media is being taken off to replaces media coming direct from their distrubution companies, and if that isnt meant to be in general section, where is it meant to go?

Well I still think old CR is much better as oppose to this new CR where you're limited on the content you can watch. But as some people put it, it all came down to legalities, CR was getting a lot of bad attention and Shinji made the decision of keeping the site alive by doing legit business with some big name anime companies and taking "pirated" content off the site. Its either this, or Shinji gets served severely and these companies who chose to work with Shinji, would instead run this site into the ground. Or at least that's what I'd like to think. I don't know if he did it for himself or his site however, with the whole venture capitalist fiasco, he might have figured out the monetary potential of CR and took it in the direction its in now. Whatever, I have no grudges, There's still a decent community here, where you can talk about the media you like. I initially came here for the movies, I have no clue whats going to be done about that, maybe there'll be some sort of netflicks style shitty pay-and-stream thing, which would suck.

It may be so that crunchyroll has lost all its user uploaded content but its to protect itself from legal issues with licensed anime. Even so crunchyroll has been having many changes lately. Soon enough crunchyroll will have gain access to show animes that are currently airing or finished already.

Even if you do go to a different anime streaming site it would eventually change into a sit like cr within a few years. Kind of funny that you think that an site could stay private on the internet. Every thing on the internet spread so fast.

Now wrong section and reported.

well i think its taken over :3 now someone rich here take over crunchyroll again and kill those animecompanies XD (jk)
yeah i know what i said isn't good but its just a joke =3=

~topic i kinda agree with the first one but he's trying to let us leechers watch anime for free and legally altough it kinda sucks that the fansubs are gone.......but it totally sucks with the region thingie.....that is why i hate animecompanies who won't let us(people who don't lives in U.S.A and those other regions where anime is popular) watch it -___-
