I'm surprised at the number of people who seem so negative about the change on this site as if they some how own it, or have no other options. The reason this site has become as appealing as it has compared to the other streaming sites is essentially the same reason that things are changing again. Shinji seems to actually care about the content of CR, and is honestly trying his best with the help of the mods to make it something worth being out there in the first place.

The people who are complaining about the content changes are probably the same people who screamed bloody murder when they started to remove the licensed content in the first place. Be happy there is finally a compromise available.

As for supporting the site that is going to be able to provide a legitimate answer to this problem, I have been waiting a long time for this.

Although I was hoping for the CR/Studio partnership, the news of removal took me by surprise. I'd rather them keep the unlicensed anime.

It is going to have growing pains, but I think down the road people will point to this as the day that saved anime.

I think it is the end...

i'm looking for another site that is like cr but none of them really are the same...

I found otaku center but that one has some anime that requires a waiting period of 54 mins after you've seen 72 mins of video...

That is true enough, however exclusivity on the part of publishers is hardly a new concept. Maybe things can change with time.

This Question is abit like the Fire Emblem Manga:

I think it something like this: Fire burns everything but give births to something new.

Just hope it really become beginning

although it is too early to tell, i also agree with the "end" ppl. all crunchyroll is doing is removing all the recent/new/unapproved animes, and those are the ones most people watch IMO. I think that might lose some viewers. well, as long fansubbers and sub groups continue subbing new animes as they come out from Japan, then there will always be new animes to watch on other sites.

With all these region restrictions, it will be the end for alot of people since most of the content wont be available.

I dont really mind which way it goes but if they keep up the restrictions and still want people to pay $155 per year after the $60 passes, your crazy.
