As commonly said, too much is a no go. Sometimes when I'm coming into work I get behind women that just go overkill on the perfume, and it makes me want to vomit. Lighter scents on a woman I like though.

As for me, I have a pretty decent collection of cologne. I'm bad for impulse buying, so I think I've got like a dozen bottles, excluding the stuff I just got rid of because it was old.

I impulse bought the new Lacoste Noir last week. Impulse bought some Michael Germain Sexual Noir a while ago. Actually set out to buy the Paco Rabanne 1 Million, and the Polo Blue Sport is probably my favorite everyday scent. Impulse bought the Armani Code Ultimate, even though I had the Armani Code already.

I saw this "Perfumes, do you like them?"
And immediately thought
"Harvey dent, can we trust him?"

When women wear perfume I often think they're trying to cover the scent of something they don't want me to smell...

that bothers me.

Scent is like music, it invokes mood and is completely individualized. Lately, I've been rockin' men's colonge. Not the crisp sporty stuff, but complex cologne like Perry Ellis, or Dolce and Gabbana, or 1,000,000. Since cologne is marketed toward men, a lot of us ladies dismiss them out of hand. I definitely like exploring at Sephora or Nordstrom's as they can give you samples when you narrow it down. Another way to be completely unique is layering. Have fun experimenting! Try a simple men's topped off with a really feminine perfume. Lately I've been grooving on Eternity for men under Kenzo's Amore. People go in for the sniff, pause, then go in for seconds. But in truth, I wear it for me and like Marilyn Monroe wore Chanel #5 as her pajama's, I give my self a squirt of stink pretty** before my bedtime/anime time.

Your perception is curious. Of course, I am sure that is why perfume came to be in the first place, we have made significant improvements on hygiene, like those flossing sticks or oder insoles.

Perfumes are for females so yes, I'd like them to spray it in moderation.

Lacoste Essential does the trick. Already have memories when I smell that perfume. Making me associate and all nostalgic. Yeah I like them. Had Lacoste Blue and Red before but lost them now. I wonder if I get across those scents again. What will run through my mind I wonder.

Anything that smells like cake I'll buy it. When I walk out of the house, I literally want to smell like I just stepped out of a bakery. I love sweet scents, especially Vanilla.

If she wears it, my personal preference is for it to be relatively light and airy. Nothing worse than sitting in a car, trying to drive your date to a movie while choking on her perfume.

I like a girl that smells nice, sure. But I wouldn't say its a requirement in the least and yeah like said above, definitely is such a thing as too much.
