The uniqueness. Even though most of Japanese culture is loosely based off of Chinese culture. I think Japanese has it's own oriental flavor that can't be beat.

I'm a train enthusiast, and would love riding in some of the unusual passenger trains Japan has to offer, That and try some of Japan's cooked food choices and pastries.
