lolol that's what other anime sites are for man.

But, there's a difference, you can watch those Anime in other sites illegally or you can watch them legally in Crunchyroll (whether or not you a paying member).

I'm not forcing anyone here, its up to you to decide which paths you would like to take.

i assume that you watched anime on CR previous to the new year so what exactly is your point?

the anime on here as you said was "illegal", why didn't you just buy the dvds?

so your point doesn't entirely make sense looking at it from you're "but CR legally shows anime"

just prior to that they didn't and they were the same as any other anime site in my eyes.

now they don't have what i want to watch(or the quality is less than at the moment)

so i don't really see it mattering either way.

I have no right to complain I now that this new thing is going to help crunchyroll and have more anime as soon as there is more anime on but I just tried to watch some anime and well the subs just sucked like it was of timeing and some were left blank I hate to say this but the fansubber do alot better than people who sit at a an office and get paid to subs this

There's something called deadline and people constantly monitoring/pressuring you when your actually working in the Anime industry compare to fansubbers who have an infinite amount of time to do their fansubbing.

Just wait as time passes the quality of their subtitles might improve.

your point would be relevant if it had to do with animes that were just coming out, but these are with titles that were already available to the US public :/

like chrno crusade and such.

And just how are the official English subtitles of Chrono Crusade being bad, care for a demonstration?

Did you even look at the episode? I think perhaps you should before you even make a post that adds absolutely nothing to the discussion. If you did watch it, you would see that it is not even three minutes into it when the 'official English subtitles of Chrono Crusade' begin to fail.

it may not entirely be the fault of the subbers. but the soft subtitles itself.

i've did a bit of sampling with the new animes and it seems all the new uploads have the same problem.

lines are skipped and not subtitled at all and some of the time they don't line up at all.

So now the problem is with the encoding, well what can you expect, they are animators, not encoders.

Now if those internet fansub groups can stop stealing from the anime creators, and instead help them with the encoding, wouldn't that be a much better way to support the anime industry, as oppose to competing with them using illegitimate fansubs made of stolen properties.

do you really think it's going to stop happening?

i mean seriously man? do you?

it's the same as pirating music.

there will always be someone to do it somewhere.

complaining about it doesn't help.

now if you are within an internet fansub group and you happen to be stealing this intellectual property what do you think you should do? fess up and possibly have a lawsuit on your hands so the people you stole from would open their arms widely to you encoding for them? or continue to just do whatever?

oh yeah or it's your option to just stop right?

also Dom, quit being an asshole man.

you just acknowledged the whole concept that the encoding is bad why argue about it more?

Relax man, I'm not trying to piss you off. I'll make things a bit more clear. I should of said starting now you can watch Anime in Crunchyroll legally compare to back then when the videos were uploaded by us Users.

Again I like to say its up to you to decided whether to go legit or continue to download/torrent them. Everyone has to right to make their own choices, I have no right to force my ideals onto you.

or the animators can pay the fansubbers to do it and everyone is happy.

subbers get paid
anime is subbed well
viewers enjoy good anime.

well thats not necessarily true
some animes that have a large audience, like naruto, one piece, bleach, their fansubber groups basically have a deadline because if the fansubbing groups dont release fast, they get alot of hate and stuff, so they have to translate and do all the timing and stuff really fast, and they do a pretty good decent job

Well one flaw would be that umm... I don't know... when someone says something and no subs come up, but then subs pop up but not for the person who spoke, but the person who will speak in a few seconds. It is not even a matter of understanding Japanese, it is a matter of not even having the subs pop up for the right person.

I know you are hell bent on spreading the word of how we are all stealing and hurting the anime creators. I have seen your countless replies and threads going on about it. Do you not understand that you have as little chance as swaying someone as anyone does with you, I am beginning to think that it is some form of redemption or twisted way of getting off. There is such thing as restraint and choosing your battles wisely and not being well.. comparison to a war crazed lunatic.

so wait.

you=former criminal?

what i don't understand is this.

from all the posts i see you make you push the whole hate thing towards fansubbers.

but seriously how many of these dumbass 13 year olds on here are capable of fansubbing?

it's like preaching to the deaf.

i mean be happy for yourself you don't steal from a community(culture) that you obviously envy in the most morbid ways.

greedy instant self-gratification is more like eating at mcdonalds or shooting heroin or doing something that makes your body feel good regardless of the consequences.

watching anime on the internet legal or "illegal" is all the same.

the way you process it in your brain is exactly the same.

intellectual property on the internet is something you can't substantiate to that extent.

that's like saying everyone who downloads mp3's illegally on the internet is a greedy instant self-gratification wanting pig.

Really man.. I think you have some issues. it is like you are trying to deal with your past by going after others. Perhaps you were an amateur wannabe who was greedy for self-gratification, but you shouldn't bring others down to your own level. You make think of others at disgusting for what they do, but I find your attitude both disgusting and appalling.

If it wasn't for those amateur wannabes, I would not have known about most of the animes I have seen and dvd's I have purchased. You can argue lagilities and rights all you want, but when you start attacking and stereotyping, name calling and demoralizing what others have done, than I have a problem.

You got a problem with the truth that I speak, or just my person. The truth that I speak can help the anime creators to get paid for their works, while you having an issue with my person won't amount anything.
