Men and women are not equal!
Posted 1/2/09 , edited 1/2/09
To any religious woman who believes in God (you know the one I'm talking about) I bring to you Genesis 3:16

3:16 Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.

Next time before signing up for a religion, read the fine print, aka the bible.

Now get in the kitchen and make me a sammich.

I see no point in it, it really doesn't matter. Any person that's even took a look at the bible already knows that women are supposed to be all for their man, which I tottaly believe is bullsh*t. But that's for the husband, which means the woman has already promised to take care of him. And the pride of men has already been taken into consideration. So the woman basically should know what in the world she's getting herself into. That and, remember, when in the world was this thing written? That should sum it all up.

That is not the point. This is a phrase coming from a being that knows everything and can see into the future basically. It doesn't matter when it's written.

And personally, I think the whole man gotta be the provider while the chick takes care of kids thing is stupid. I think people should always strive to be all they can be, regardless of what you got in your pants.

No matter how high up somebody is, the guy (god) may have a plan for everyone but no one can see past their own descisions. I highly doubt (your) god can see further in the future as everyone believes (thinks). But of course the woman's not going to be the one sitting at home. I'm just saying that the woman has already read this in the bible and obviously they brush it aside. Well others that read to deep into the lines (overachever (sp?) Christians/Christinan wannabe's) attempt to do everything in the bible. (i agree w/ u)

but when you say this comes from a creature that knows evrything ect, doesnt that mean that it is true (for christians)
you cannot say that god makes mistakes, simply cuz he is supposed to be the perfect creature, so IF god exists, and IF he wrote the sentence about woman being less then men, then it is a fact.
if he did not, or if he simply doesnt exist then all this is bullsh*t and should be treated that way

Actually, most Christians have not read the bible and have no clue what they are getting into, which is very ironic seeing as they always tell people there doing things against it...
