I've always wanted to form my own visual kei band for a long time.

I have the name thought out already but I'm looking for a lead guitarist, rhythm guitarist, bassist and drummer.

First, I wanted to become a pro wrestler and THAT went nowhere -_-

I am very serious about this. I really want to form a visual kei band and make this a part of my lifestyle.

Music has saved my life in more than on occasion. And it's the only thing that has always been there for me. I want to create music that speaks to people. That changes lives. And it just so happens that my strongest influences are all in the visual kei scene.

I'm dead serious about forming a band.

most people mainly sing, and not many have even heard of visual kei style, most think it's punk or goth.I need 2 guitarists for my band, preferably between the ages of 17 and 22.

It's my greatest desire, it's my motivation to keep living, it's my passion!
My greatest wish is to promote visual kei and make it as much of a thing here in the US and eventually the rest of the world as it is in Japan (even though it really isn't much of one, but it's more so there than here!) and thrive as a musician, even if my band doesn't go by the label "visual kei". But I swear I do not want to be lumped in with these new American glam bands like BVB and BOTDF; I would die if I were compared to any of them. I want to create a progressive rock or kotekote kei band, or dark electro or even crazy candy pop like aicle.!
Of course, I live in the South, so obviously my quest hasn't been very fruitful. I've been in an alternative/hard rock/I guess you could say grunge? band for a little over a year and have played well over 10 gigs, so I have more than enough stage experience to know how to get around. I have a good base of references. The problem is, where I live, there really aren't many rock musicians apart from screaming death metal fanboys that can't sing. :/ I've been looking for some kind of visual kei-loving musicians for years with no luck, but I'm not quitting if it means I die.

I've been looking EVERYWHERE for members to form a VK influenced band! Multiple sites, posting countless ads on craigslist, joining multiple groups on Facebook, etc etc.

I'm so dedicated to forming this band that I made an account just to post here.

I live near the Los Angeles area in a city called South Gate. I play guitar, bass and drums. Have my own guitars, amps, audio interface that I record with, and drums that I play in the garage. I have songs that I've done with bass, guitar, drum, and vocal lines ready to go and just learn and practice. I have them on sound cloud so if you wanna hear a few I'll send you a private link.

My influences are tons of bands but I'm heavily influenced by Screw, the Gazette, Deluhi and Eat You Alive. My stuff is VERY relevant to what the Gazette and Screw does. I'm going for that light but heavy sound.

I'm looking for any body who's interested and who lives near.I'm limited on transportation but I could make it work. This is my dream and I'm sure people would love our music! I don't use crunchy roll so its best to email me at [email protected]

Thanks and I hope to hear back from anyone interested.

I've been looking around this area for a while and nothing has happened, so I'm trying to start an online based band. I play rhythm and bass guitar as well as vocals, but I'm more interested currently on playing guitar. I'm 24, living in the middle of nowhere, NY. Looking for others around my age that are interested and committed to the band. I'm influence by X Japan, Nightmare, Hide, The gazette, Danger gang.

I started off doing vocals but it's easier to just take over for guitar and/or bass. If there's anyone in NY that is interested to for a band with me, message me on here or at [email protected] I will be posting videos soon on my youtube channel that will be up on Halloween officially, so you can hear samples of covers songs
