People don't want to look at their nasty ass breasts. And I don't care how beautiful and wonderful their bond with their baby is. There's are billions of people in the world. It's just another human being. The rest of the world doesn't think you breast feeding your baby is as magical as you do.

Also, Facebook isn't a government/public service. If you don't like it, get the f*ck out.

I don't get it. If the baby was breast-feeding, all you would see is the side of her breast- maybe. Otherwise, it sounds like a sweet and maternal image to me: I mean, breast ARE designed to feed babies, so what's weird about taking a picture of a woman holding and feeding her baby? That's not exactly a sexual image- unless you're a bit perverted.

What irritates me is all of the very explicit sexual images I DO come across, especially on MySpace, and they never get taken down. Weird.

So, adding to my previous post, the debate is now over the following:

-Do mommy boobies count as boobies
-Does side boob count as boob

Porn on myspace? Sacrilege! Myspace is the internet's one bastion of decency and quality and intelligence.

Arguing that showing a body part performing its designated biological function makes it appropriate is kind of a stretch. Allowing women to post closeups of giving birth is quite functional, but would be widely considered to be inappropriate. Its a slippery slope but I stand by facebook's decision to piss off mothers.

I saw this on yahoo a few days ago. Honestly, I agree with Facebook. Who would want to see those pictures? Fine, the mothers made their point, breastfeeding is beautiful and natural and all that. We all know that. But when they're in public, they should at least put a blanket over themselves. They're probably just too lazy. Anyway, Facebook can do whatever they want to the site. People that expose themselves in public would get arrested for indecent exposure, why should it be any different for the Internet? There are 13 year olds that use that site, and I'm sure they nor their parents would want them to see that stuff.

Well if a picture of a woman breast feeding is considered inappropriate (and that means her nips are covered) then the website should also ban all photos where a woman is showing most of her breasts in one of those super revealing tops so many women wear. Most people would consider that a bit extreme, but if it's the sites policy, so be it. I just think there should be some consistency, which I haven't seen on facebook or myspace.

Plus, I'm surprised at how many people find breast feeding so disgusting. Sure it's a bodily function but its not like defecating or urinating. Besides, no one is making anyone look at pictures of a mom breast feeding. I think the function of the breast mitigates it's being exposed in order to feed an infant, which doesn't seem disgusting to me. It's not like a mom feeding her child is trying to be sexually appealing, like a woman who wears a shirt that barely covers her nipples is.

Okay, breast feeding women in public don't bother me, maybe that's why pictures of it don't bother me either. I've seen it in restaurants and in other public places and I guess it just doesn't seem strange or inappropriate to me. It's probably a cultural thing, so I'm not all that fussed if no one seems to agree with me.

Yeah...

Maybe to the new-mommy is a display of love to post pictures all over the internet of her breastfeeding.

To the rest of us, its just a baby sucking a saggy, nasty tee-ta.

These women are full of shit. No one wants to see that.
