I'm indifferent to it... I don't look for it, but if a friend suggests one to me and I like the story I'm fine with it. I don't really like the idea of homosexuality being the focus though ... It just points out that there's a difference in lifestyle (a very unimportant difference at that) compared to people of other orientations. There's nothing wrong with liking it, but I don't particularly. The same goes for incest and yuri. A lot of people probably find these hard to accept because of the social norms of their surroundings. *shrug*

Again, to me it depends on the story.

It doesn't point out an indifference. It's just considered a romance theme. Though I'm not to clear on what you mean by the focus. Like two people of the same gender as a couple?

I personally think it's disgusting. Same goes for Yuri and Incest.

I'm also annoyed with the fangirls and their ability to doodle.
I'm up on photobucket, trying to find some Kanda pics, and for about 50 frackin pages (SLIGHT exaggeration, most likely a miscalculation.) all I see is Lavi/Allen tongue wrestling Kanda!!

Kanda is not homosexual, neither is Lavi. Allen...not so sure. :P

Come on Love is Love it doesn't matter how or to whom its expressed personally if someone loves something who are you to say other wise? People who don't give thing a chance and automatically detest things are the worst.... i hope thats not your case, butreally dont say its disgusting thats mean anyway im Straight btw and i do happen to like Yaoi

I'm only talking about the series in which the yaoi is the only point made - when there's absolutely nothing else there.

The only way that point would be made is if it was a romance anime between two guys. Then it isn't an indifference, it's just two people in love.

I probably just haven't seen enough of it to say. I also think it makes me feel a little annoyed when someone says they love ALL yaoi because I like it to have a good plot regardless of who loves who - basically, because we all look for different things in our shows. It's also a little strange to me because I have no interest whatsoever in being romantically involved myself and can't personally understand that desire. Anyway, I have no problem with the relationships, just with people who like them BECAUSE they are gay rather than because they are just two people who love each other. Make sense?

I guess my problem is with some of the fans, not the genre itself. I didn't explain well.
I should stop being awake at 3:30am.

Everyone can have his or her own fantasies but this Yaoi/Slash thing has gone beyond reasonable proportions. It annoys me to no end that whenever you're on a fan-art or fan-fiction site you almost have to use a magnifying glass just to find something that isn't Yaoi/Slash.
