To be honest J-Drama and K-Drama, they both good. It's just K-Drama it's more about Romance more then J-Drama. But to me watching romantic J-Drama, their story line doesn't fit at all and sometime the characters made a stupid decision and it's doesn't make any sense at the end. K-Drama is totally understandable to me, because the story is perfectly clear. If you're looking for a good romance drama, I recommend K-Drama but if you;re looking for a slice of life or a good suspense drama, J-Drama is a good one.

BTW... no offense to those who love J-Drama, but it's seems like the people in Japan can't stood up for themselves. Like one J-Drama I'd watched where all this high school girls bullied this 1 little girl and they told her that she's ugly and she should die and OMG!!! that little girl actually tried to suicide herself. K-Drama is totally different, I like how they stood up for themselves they just smack all of those b****es and speaks their mind. That's just my opinion.

I had watched 87 dramas/movies, 4 japanese and 83 koreans, so, I´m unconditionally a korean fan. Just like japanese because they´re short, comparing with korean ones, but I like it most the koreans. I even have started learning korean language and believe it or not, I can write and read it (of course, with my bad pronunciation). Aja, Aja, fighting.

i prefer jdramas coz they're animated. kdrama is okay but it's too dramatic and always ends up in a tragedy, plus it's too long. i dont like TW dramas coz they're really long.

I dislike Japanese dramas, I personally think that the actors and plot are corny and stupid a lot of the time. I think most Korean dramas are better in quality of story and acting. Most people watch Japanese dramas for their favorite actors, since usually only hot guys are casted.

I love Jdramas. I tried watching a Korean drama, but I couldn't go pass 10 mins. >< I think it's 'cuz the languages are so different. I think Japanese sounds better to me.

based on language barriers, taiwanese dramas, cuz i can understand everything without the translations
plus, i have to admit the translations are smtimes incorrect or are phrases that can't be literally translated
but i have to say the japenese dramas are really good

Personally, I don't really care what language the Drama is in...I just care about the Drama itself!
If it's good, it's good, if it's not...it isn't!

Hmm...

Well, with JDramas that I have seen so far, I have a small problem with the intimacy in them... it's lacking. Even if I am into the story, when the characters are about to "kiss" (I put quotations because... it's really... not...), I am immediately pulled out of the story because the kisses are soo fake. I mean if the actors and director and all that don't want to kiss, that's totally fine. I'd rather they do some camera tricks and shoot the actors from behind or something, not zooming in on something that's... not really happening. But, I've only seen that in the JDramas that I have seen. This is where I draw my opinion from. Overall though, the sets and color schemes are pleasing to the eyes. The stories are nicely wrapped in a sufficient bundle.

With TwDramas - I watch these mostly and to be honest... the characters, the setting and a lot of what they do are more... real. They shoot on location (outside a real bus stop, inside a real airport) and they don't really do to much to close off the area, so you still have regular people in the background. I don't know, it just makes the stories, characters, and situations more believeable. Even when someone is rich in a Tw drama... that person still has that "I'm rich" air to them... but they also have an "I'm human" air to them.
There is overacting though...

With KDramas... My TV actually shows a lot of KDramas and I used to watch them... they were so intense. I have not seen a KDrama in a whiiiile though... But I think KDramas are in the middle between the other Dramas.

In terms of fanciness, a JDrama would be the BEST place to look. In terms of regular type things and characters that one identify with, then I'd say TwDrama. To find both of those things... I'd say KDrama.

yeah
