Thats my school. Its really different from a normal highschool and theres like.. 3 in all of Canada.
We dont have classes we need to go to like normal highschool, or scheduals we need to follow.
Basically we have 18 units for every course ( 1 unit is like a small booklet of work) and we have 8 courses all year round.
We finish 1 unit ( or how many units youd like ) and hand it in for another, and so on, for ever course at the same time. We have no deadlines so our school is made up on the fact that your literally learning on your own pace. since there arnt any classes the rooms are meant for working on units, but friends could always stick together and work anywhere in the school. :)

What I like about my school is that I literally pick up my work or hand it in and head back home to do it. Its the closest thing highschool can do to prepare you for a life in University.

5/5 for the idea
but ever since last year they had major changes so its gotten kinda unreasonable but 'fair'.

HAHA mary ward!
10 mins from libermann!
im jealous though b/c u guys get like 3 gyms which make up our entire school...its like tokyo here LOL, no hallway space

but anyway...woot for scarborough which is all asian XD

I was wondering If i'd attract any attention to anyone around that area haha, GUESS I DID :)

HIGHFIVE.

academics: 9/10 we're way above state and national average for standardized test scores, but there could be a lot more foreign language classes. we have more than enough classes for everything else. we have almost all the AP classes available not counting the foreign languages. we have classes for everything like business and marketing, agriculture, health, finance, auto stuff, engineering, criminal justice, accounting, daycare, and even a cosmetology class >_> we only have 4 languages though: spanish, french, german, and latin. other schools some of my friends go to have russian, arabic, japanese, korean, mandarin, vietnamese, dutch, etc.

clubs/sports: 10/10 i swear my school has so many clubs and sports it's ridiculous. for sports there's a basketball team, football team, soccer team, lacrosse team, swim team, track team, cross and country team, diving team, hockey team (wtf), cheer leading, and there's several different dance programs. for clubs there sooo many. probably at least 50 different clubs and organizations. asian american club! too bad i'm not in it >_> skipped the sign up day...

teachers: 8/10 for the most part the teachers are qualified and good but there are some i'm just like wtf? why are you a teacher?

students: 7/10 my school is filled with rich white kids. you should see the mercedes, corvettes, and bmws in our parking lot. not enough asians either and my school seems like there's different zones. the black wall, the mexican wall, the asian tree, the morman tree, and the senior tree are like different territories >_> it's so stupid.

building: 3/10 the thing is seriously falling apart. when it rains, IT RAINS. drip, drip, drip... there's trashcans placed all around the school to catch leaks. under the walkways outside there are WATERFALLS. you have to walk AROUND them. it's so gay. people like to push you into them too >_< the only cool thing i can say is that there are 14 different buildings at my school so it's cool walking outside going to a different building every class period. people like to call my school "a mini college campus". the district plans to tear the school down though and build a new one in 2011. like wtf? that's AFTER i graduate.

overall: 8/10 it's a cool school, but there could be more asians and leaking roofs are not grand.

I would rate mine 1 out of 10. If there wasnt my friends it would be 0. Reason is basically because..............My vice principal is a ass and my principal is a dope. The substitutes at my school are usually douchebags(On exception for most boy substitutes) and all the teachers th me actually like went to a dif school or retired. some teachers are actually awesome but they not that good a teaching .... EEEEVVVVVVIIIIIIIIILLLLLLLLLL. And of course since my vice principal changed the whole school to a way that nobody likes.
