If you think that being physically fit has anything to do with why people get plastic surgery, you have a lot to learn.

Most people in the US who get plastic surgery are physically fit, particularly if it's wholly cosmetic.

Ummmm many Japanese people have big round eyes but so do a lot of non-Japanese Asians naturally. And just like other Asians, many Japanese people have small eyes. Just because you see an Asian girl with big round eyes doesn't mean she is Japanese... I've seen many Korean or Chinese girls with very round eyes (naturally, haha).

Case in point:

IU, a Korean singer:

(^ IU is on the very left, the one with the o.o eyes.)

^ IU now

Also, there's nothing wrong if some Asians have smaller eyes :/ And if they want to get surgery to make there eyes bigger, that's their choice. Why is it up to us to judge if that's right or wrong? If it makes them feel better about themselves, go for it! Often times, it makes them actually look better as well! Who would've thunk it? And it's not always an issue of aesthetics. Medical issues like ptosis or eyelashes poking into ones eyes constantly often lead to some people getting double eyelid surgery to fix those problems.

And the thing is, celebrities in general are known for plastic surgery. Not just a particular race.

Marilyn Monroe, a classic symbol of Western beauty, had a nose job people. And Kim Kardashian, a symbol of modern Hollywood beauty, definitely got some work done. >___>

I dont have double eye lid from a birth, its a great effort for me to line it with eyeliner to be seemed as I have it. So I kinda understand their big interest in having big eyes, but I am fully self esteemed with myself. I believe my eyes so following this I doubt about the information that JE celebs do this PS, coz I browsed many sites did watch their chibi photos, I dont get it why to compare Japan to Korea, its kinda annoying . When someone speaks about plastics they go on saying that Japan is on the 1st place. SInce I am a fan of Japanese celebs, I found and downloaded their photos, then I campared them. I didnt find any differences and I am not trying to get them clear from it. I live in the country where live around 100 000 Koreans, and none of them have double eyelid, unlike Japanese. We can count it this way 1 of 100000 people in Korea is born with his natural double eye lid, at the time only 1 from hundred people in Japan dont have it. When the first time I watched korean serie that had been aired on the channels I thought why do they look different from our koreans, at that moment I had no idea they get the second eyelid with plastic way. Which made me disappointed. I agree with those who said Yamapi, Ryo, Kame didnt do that. Lets guess you are caucasian, you dont meet asians every day, so you kinda confused with this question about the double eye lid. I meet them everyday since I am from Central Asia, and I better know who has double eye lid and who hasnt, I must say almost every Japanese is born with second eyelid, but it is not seen as much, their eyes got bigger by the age, so after watching the photos everybody consider that they made PS.Look at these cute boys do you really think they made something with their faces

i don't get what's so bad about plastic surgery.
if it's something that will please you, than go for it.

you don't need to get hated over something that is COMMONLY done THROUGHOUT the world.

What people do to their face is none of my business but I still feel weird that it has become so prevalent that it's normal to give your daughter plastic surgery on their birthday.......Korea

i am totally that housewife arashi-lovin dancing around to their songs type. no lie. but i'm around the same age as them i bet.

anyway, meh. i remember feeling weird about the cosmetic surgery. to be honest i still feel a bit of sadness when i see something in the before picture that my heart misses and therefor it makes me wonder if they, themselves miss it, secretly, but you know..

it's their body. they can do whatever they want with it. i'll not judge.

however if my kid wanted it someday i'd prolly cry into a pillow for years in fear of the actual surgery, and to say goodbye to those perfect features i adored when she was tiny. and i know there are "right" and "wrong" reasons for wanting to do these surgeries, and should anyone close to me do it I will only hope it's for the "right" reasons.

love all around people!

weeaboo alert. I have no problem with people loving Japan, because I do too. But please quit putting the Japanese people on pedestals. They're just human beings like us. They are Asian. They are not unnaturally beautiful elves. Sorry if this sounds mean.

It didn't show the post I was replying to. Oh wells.

Its amazing how much peer pressure can do to you., Lets just face it, if youre not beautiful enough then the possibility of you staying in showbiz for a long period of years is shorter. Unless if you're really talented. Teehee

I put them in order from when he was just a kid to teen until his recent 2012 pic! #7 was his most natural condition, he put no make up at all when the pic was took in 2011:

I found the best solution to this problem. I have been searching for years on how to make my eyes rounder and bigger and I found a product called OPHTHOGLOW which is a thicker and permanent LIMBAL RING implant. Studies have shown that thicker limbal rings signify youth as well as make your eyes bigger and more attractive to the opposite sex.

I did the procedure and am so happy. It was quick and painless and ultimately very safe. My eyes now look so much more appealing and larger so I highly recommend it. Very happy))))

I almost wanted Yamapi to have had surgery because no one should be that naturally gorgeous. It's just too unfair. He's so pretty it's painful to look at him, but he's all real. If you go on Youtube and type in Chibi Yamapi there are several videos that chronicle his life from early childhood and it's very obvious that his facial features have matured but not been radically changed. He's always looked that incredible, even as a little boy.
