If you have not seen the entire show, I'd suggest watching it MySoju or something like that.
I just finished watching the last episode and I was wondering how other people thought the ending was. I think overall the show was pretty cool and very enjoyable and it got pretty tense towards the end. They also managed to throw some odd curve balls, like Jie'Er's dad being a bad guy all these years (Did NOT see that coming)... they kinda glazed over that part though... So does it mean her father REALLY went on vacation... or did he run away? And after a while I didnt see why Jie'Er was resisting Dong Fang Xiang anymore. Then the at the VERY end, it was real sad. I mean... W dies... that was interesting and I liked how they did it to be honest. I think having miraculously cured or something would've been a cope out. In anycase, I want to know how other people felt about the ending. |

Watching a few tw dramas you dont notice but once you watch over 10 series or so you sort of lose your feel for them. The series just seemed a bit fake from beginning to end. The exaggeration about the importance of basketball and all the weird..abduction fight scenes made me feel uncomfortable. I watched the end and I was like since this is supposed to be a comedy romance at least let W live but no..it was some dodgy unexplained tragic ending which made me think "wtf is going on? if the game is a draw then go into overtime..."But no, somehow all 3 of the guys end up friends because of the draw.

The series in it's whole was decent. However the ending does unfortunately leave a lot of unanswered questions and gaping stares. So W dies, and let's all spend a moment to grieve... but then now wu ji chun dong fang xiang, and da ying are all flying in the air smiling... What they said didn't close anything. It made me wonder if they ever settle things between each other... This series kind of dropped off for me at the end. I was quite disappointed but then maybe it's just my agony over W's death. ;P

Random plot, good acting for the most part.
For me it was enjoyable but the ending was waaaaaaay too sudden and inconclusive. Sixteen episodes is the right length thou. It would be great if there was a sequel but i think W must be in it or it would be disappointing.(some miracle?) after all she was not shown dead, just fainting, i wanna see Hot Shot II!! |

I thought the ending was okay, but I think they could have and majorily done it a lot better. It stills feels like they left a lot of questions unanswered. And omgah! I too felt sad that W had to die. I really thought (like most other dramas) that they'll make this miracle of W surviving her cancer. Also, I thought that W and DaYing were really going to be a couple; I bit disappointed at that. Overall, I thought the series was okay. Some parts were good and otheres were kind of boring, dragging, and bad. Still, the drama made me smile. The casts were really great and funny; their personalities seems to be really great even outside of their acting career. But the things that bugged me most is the crying scenes and kissing scenes-it felt and looked faked-thought that they needed to get lessons on how to act those scenes out; an acting coach/ acting school.
