So, no, I didn't think of it when I was watching Vampire Knight. Before you flame me, I actually READ the first book before deciding I didn't like it. I didn't see any comparison, and I never understood when people say they do. Honestly, I think it's just the topic of love and vampires that gets people all 'oh they're just like Edward and Bella!' and has nothing to do with their flat 2 dimensionality.

(wince) I like twilight and vampire knight... both of them. really.. and I oftentimes see kaname like edward, but I don't really think Yuki is like bella; yuki's more childish and jolly, and Bella likes being coolminded and responsible. Yeah. like that. ^_^ (sorry, people~ sorry.) ><

(Kaname is Kuran's ancestor) - Edward protects Bella himself, Kaname lets other people do it for him. - Kaname turned Yuuki back into the beast he is himself, Edward did not want Bella to become a vampire. - Kaname and Yuuki's relationship is full of guilt (for letting Kaname wait 10 years and so on), Edward and Bella just genuinely love each other. - Kaname has had a wife before in order to make the Kuran family, Bella is Edward's first love interest.
