AnimeSunset wrote: i've only watched up to episode 98 and there are 167 right? but isnt there also a season 2? im confused... There are 167 in the first Inuyasha series which ran from 2000-2004, and the second series Inuyasha: The Final Act that has 26 episodes which ran from 2009-2010. The second series was a little inconsistent in places but was still an entertaining and satisfying finish to the whole series. Both of which you can watch on Hulu for free. |

The second series (which some people complained at the time was too fast), had no time for filler, and covered volumes 36-56 of the manga, a pace of just below 0.81 of a volume per episode. If the original series had went at the same pace, it would have been 43-44 episodes. |

I saw everything except the final act season. I sort of had hate a love/hate thing with the anime. I know it was probably disappointing in the end but come on, it's InuYasha. I was so young when this anime came on adult swim. =p

Yeah, I finished it and own the series and was disappointed. However, I watched and finished The Final Act as well, which totally makes up for it, and am waiting for VIZ to get off their *** and release it. on DVD already.
