It should just follow the manga, which is getting awesome X3 According to Nakayoshi's summary, Kairi's appearance is only temporary just like Dia in episode 52. He doesn't exactly come back. His meeting with Amu and Tadase is more like a coincidence ;D. I wouldn't be surprised if he only appeared in that episode.
