Hey everyone out there, how many of you understand why we can no longer see animes such as TORADORA and Vampire Knight Guilty? Please explain to the non-tech person here who DID buy an anime membership... Is it possible for Crunchyroll to work with the Japan anime studios who make these animes to put them on the PAY site now?

Read this: http://www.crunchyroll.com/forumtopic-426221/Happy-New-Year-2009.html

Plus, CR only shows shows to which it has the rights to stream online. If a certain show you're watching is no longer available (i.e. ToraDora!), it simply means that CR does not hold the rights to stream it. It's that simple. It may be possible though for CR to obtain rights to stream through negotiations, but that's about all we can do. If a company licenses a show to a certain region, then the rights must be obtained from the licensor, instead of the broadcaster (in Japan). This is why some shows can be shown globally, while others are limited to certain regions.

I hope that pretty much answers your question.
