With all the other licensing stuff going on, I think it'd be great if CR could pick up Fresh Pretty Cure, and then pull in the older stuff over time like they're doing with some of the other series.

Yeah but they'll also need to get a license approval from Animax Japan(the channel that it airs on). The problem is Pretty Cure is a kid's anime and since this website - Crunchyroll has rude and naughty adds around the video player it's not a good idea for kids to watch Pretty Cure while those adds are there.

I think they need to go in order with the series. I'd hate to watch ahead, since most series like this tend to have flashbacks of earlier series eps for reference, and that would be too much of a spoiler if they do so.

I think they should release the series in the order they should be in and not skip ahead to a later series/saga.

Well, there's four distinct universes within the Pretty Cure franchise right now, and the four really have very little to do with each other. In fact, unless you count the All Stars movie, they don't even know each other ever existed. Only two of those universes had a second season (the original, and Yes Pretty Cure 5). Max Heart they could bring in as soon as the original Pretty Cure finishes (it's a season two for the original). Splash Star, Yes Pretty Cure 5, and Fresh Pretty Cure could probably be all brought in at once without confusing people. Yes Pretty Cure 5 GOGO should obviously wait until Yes Pretty Cure 5 completes, since that's the season two for that one.

The licensing probably would be downright complicated... every series except Fresh Pretty Cure has been dubbed in a bunch of languages all over the place (just not in English - GAH!!) so they'd have the rightsholders for all of those dubs to consider.

ya they should start with the first pretty cure series then go on to the newer stuff. but it still would be nice to see the more recent anime too. but you never know where a spoiler may pop up!

I really like the art direction for Heartcatch, it's got a sharp dynamic look to it, good impact for the action scenes

It has a bit more detail than Fresh. it reminds me of Fresh, but not quite, like all the scenes aren't just colors. (Like there's details)

I personally loved the first episode, (thought it was hilarious) and can't wait to watch episode two. I wonder if the guy in the preview will be their sort of "mentor" like in past series.

2 Episodes into Heartcatch and the Art Direction continues to show my a lot of interesting techniques. The line work is very strong and the coloring is vibrant.
The Fight sequence was really good.
The 3d work is pretty good too, some nice weight to the characters in the Ending animation, even in some of the cloth.

The revelation on the Grandmother was a surprise and I've got a pretty good guess on who the guy who rescued her was.

Secrecy seems to be harder for them this time though. Damage to the environment isn't getting repaired once the monster is beaten and we have witnesses to the monster's rampage.

Episode 10 of Heartcatch was freakin awesome, though the fight against the minions was a little iffy animation wise in a few spots (mostly with Marine's part though it does kind of fit her personality)

I'm at a point now where I've managed to see a few episodes of each Pretty Cure season as well as several of the movies. I really like the Cure 5 team but they have all been pretty fun and I'm finding Fresh's story line to be pretty interesting, as Pretty Cure villains go I really like Eas.

I don't think the problem is that it's a kids anime since CR has Lil Pri that is a kid's anime which (even though i watch it) in my opinion is inferior to Precure.

CR already has the first season of Precure and I, as a fan of the show, would like to see the other seasons of it (and the movies).
