If you had a friend who has recently broken up with his Boyfriend or Girlfriend so what will you do? Do we do something about it or do we just leave them alone which some even commit suicide when left alone. So what do you think?

i remember when a friend of mine broke up with his girlfriend. i said to him "Fool, such a weakling. Don't let go of her because of circumstances. You want her right!". They now have a record of 5 break-ups and they're still together.^^

Umm i don't mean to let them die, what i meant was to let the person cool down, but some people will think negatively when they are left alone to cool down, therefore they commit suicide. I didnt meant that I knew that he/she was gonna die and let he/she die.

i've been there. what that person needs is a friend's support and not advise from them saying that 'forget about him/her', 'she/he does not deserve you'. SUPPORT him/her, ask them what they want, from there, advise him/her what to do

If it's just a break up, leave it be. Not exactly your business. If it's a matter of life or death, try to do what you can to support your friend...

PS - Why would your friend commit suicide if they're the ones who broke up?

Talk to them about it and urge them to let it all out. Then give them some good advice. Things like this happens to everyone and it hurts like hell but such is life and wounds will close eventually although it may take some time. Take them out, try to have fun with that person, and basically just lend an ear to hear them out and a shoulder to cry on. If it's that bad that it comes to suicidal thoughts, do your best to convince them that one relationship is not worth killing yourself for. the beauty in life is that you can always try to start over. be very sensitive towards that person and just assure them that you are there for them no matter what.

Never leave her /him alone. You said she/he commited suicide. Don't let her/him do that again. It's not we're lucky all the time that if we try to kill ourselves, we won't die.

Try to talk to her/him. Let her/his emotion be express. Cry out loud if she/he wants to. Besides, crying is the best way to express your emotion out of the shell.

If someone commits suicide over a break up, I wouldn't want to be friends with him/her in the first place, so I couldn't care less. What kind of question is this anyway?
