personally think the spec v is FAR too expensive. would rather get myself a porsche GT2 with plenty of money left over for tyres, pads and petrol. getting one in the UK would cost about £140k once its out - never mind shipping and documents.

Those things are expensive to maintain too, much more than any porsche or even ferrari would cost.

...all i know is 700+ hp,lol.(varies since hand built if remember right)

that's enough to make it worth the price(especially since lighter)

Actually any Spec V Nissan is always slightly faster than the original, so this model has more horsepower and speed

basically a super fast, AWD 370Z really.... why couldn't we get the BNR series in the US? I'd much rather prefer one of those as opposed to an R35

I test drove a black GT-R when I was shopping for my 370Z earlier this year, what an amazing car! Unless you are prepared to break a massive number of traffic laws, you would have to take this to a track regularly for some fun. Definitely a head turner, to say the least. The specV would just be insane.

It's really a shame the new GT-R doesn't come with the proper 3-pedaled manual transmission :(

However, I hate the GT-R.

It's not that it goes fast, I just hate HOW it goes fast with all these stupid computer assists. Although it may be Nissan's objective to make a car easy to drive fast for anyone, I just don't like the concept.

As for the Spec V, it needs to lose more weight, the GT-R is literally as heavy as a truck. Previous generation GT-Rs apply (excluding the RWD GT-Rs)

I agree with the R34 being the better looker...As far as the style of the GTR, it resembles the koenigsegg in roofline and mated with european finesse.
