Skip Beat! New Episode Air Dates on TV Tokyo

This wait just for NEWS if there will be or will not be a 2nd season seems almost cruel.
rmac - And the manga is continuing, they have up to #24 out, 25 comes out (October 4th, 2011') if your in Canada.
They have enough of a story and character development to atleast make 3 seasons, maybe 4 (Ok ok, that was wishful thinking) .
I wish they would just give us an answer for certain and stop playing these mind games.

it has occured to me that perhaps a second season has not been made due to issues in making the material suitable for television. In the manga, Kyoko flips Ren the bird prompting the "in front of the bathroom scene.", in the anime this is changed to her giving him a thumbs down. There could be the issue of dealing with various taboo situations in the story, that are important to the story itself, making it difficult for the release of a second season. Just a thought.

this waiting is torture

I wonder what they could do with another season I dont see where it could go there wouldnt be building towards a goal because she has already achieved everything and begun to heal. I love this series but I dont want them to push out another season and ruin it.

at least someone buy the rights to distribute in north america, so i can buy the first season

There's much more material to go on as the anime is based on the manga and the manga is still ongoing with one chapter being released every month. They could be waiting for the manga to finish before deciding, let's hope that's the case.

Oh I did not realize there was a manga, I am definitely going to have to read them, I bet they are even better.

So because I truly am made of awesome, I found Sayama, Kiyoko the Director, Episode Director, Storyboard, Animation Director of Skip Beat!. I asked her if there is talk about a second season and what the Fans need to do as a whole to help encourage the production. this was the response i received:

So as fans, we need to contact the production company, send them the petition so they realize whats going on. The more we try to contact them the more attention Skip Beat! will gain. So spread the word and I'll get contact information for the production companies that have worked with Skip Beat!. If we all do our part we might just be able to see a season 2!!!!! Kiyoko Sayama seems to want to make another one, and has plans to boot!! we just need a production company to realize that Skip Beat! is a money making anime!!! LETS DO THIS!

ME WANT SEASON 2 >:O

Is it sad that I have watched this show repeatively since it released back in 09? Watching a show 24 times and buying 2 copies of it isn't normally my style. However every time I watch this show it touches my soul and I just want to continue feeling that joy. Like a drug. 2nd season would be amazing especially with how awesome the manga is.
