hard to belive he also voiced Hale from Jungle wa itsumo Hale nochi Guu.... I think that was the only role we get to hear him do a high-pitched whiny panicy voice instead of the egnamic roles I associate him with now.
how about that Kappei Yamaguchi(Usopp, Inuyasha, Shinichi Kudo, L, etc. etc.)? just how many roles has that guy had in mostly all popular mega hit animes? that takes some skill or some luck

Along with Ranma, he's been a seiyuu for quite a long time...
What about Norio Wakamoto? Narrator of Hayate no Gotoku!, he plays really badass characters such as Alexander Anderson and Emperor Charles Di Brittania

I noticed that, but like dozens of other voices I rarely recognize them unless they use similar tones.
One thing to admire about any voice actor ingeneral is their ability to manipulate their voices to fit the character. Aya Hirano is a decent example of this, I don't know what's wrong with me, but I did not pick up on her being both the voice of Haruhi and Konata until ep 15 of Lucky Star when that Haruhi commercial aired... and it was not until recently it dawned on me that she was also Mahiro Muto from Busō Renkin, though that might have been due to the amount of time between viewing the series...

So true, I found it hard to believe that she played such different tone... Along with the high pitch voice, I heard she can sing rather high.
By the way, on Jun Fukuyama, he's not only using different tone, but different dialect such as Kansai Dialect which is from Kyoto...

Kansai Dialect is one I tend to hear alot of in many animes, but I've only seen a few where all the characters have it. I belive the english equivalent would be a southern accent.

Haruna Ikezawa - Daa Daa Daa (Cristine), The Big O (Lola), Gash no Bell! (Li-en), and Hamtaro (Hiroko Haruna, Torahamu-chan) are the roles I recognize her from.

I would like to comment on Satsuki Yukino(Mion/Shion, Chidori, Kagome, Otae,Yoruichi). She just plays the characters with such violent attitude

Next seiyuu, that I have been focusing a lot lately, is Kitamura Eri(Kokonoe Rin from Kodomo no Jikan, Saya from Blood+, Yuka Uchida from Minami-ke, Shiranui Akeno from Seto no Hanayome, Ami Kawashima from Toradora). She's quite a versatile seiyuu and also good singer despise the small amount of album. She's in my favorite seiyuu list and I managed to get this.

Aside from her role as Rin from KnJ I recognize her from Potemayo as the main character: Sunao Moriyama.
I can see what you mean by being vesatile.
