I'd also like a link to the story you mentioned, if possible. To validate.

There are lots of cases, but I'm too lazy to find anything reliable. Mostly hearsay.
But why the f*** would anyone rape if they didn't find their victim attractive? Google "mini-skirt rape justification" if you want to see my hearsay homework.

Didn't Richard Ramirez rape a 86 year old? So that's extreme gerontophilia?

see i dont quite get this, out of all sexist comments made only the women kick off and complain to the extend that its classed as a problem by the media about how theyr treated when sexist comments are aimed at them, the men hardly do on the other hand, i mean somebody please feel free to message me if they think im wrong or have evidence of men kicking off noted by the media over sexism.

so dont get me wrong here i have no arguement with women wanting to do what they like or take on male roles as others would put it, to be honest id much rather see women doing more things to break down the sexist barriers of the past, but there is one time when i do lose my cool on this subject, and thats when women treat men how they do not want to be treated with sexist comments or actions

dont get me wrong i do have a reason for believing this takes place as a few girls i know are very fond of getting nasty when blokes are sexist to them, but then turn around and make the same sort of comments about blokes, and that my friends is the time when i quite literally turn the area around me into a living hell for them

at the end of the day male or female it doesnt matter, men and women are both as good and as bad as each other, we all have things were good at and things we arent

i dont personnally believe that either ones better, but if anyone dares come up to me in person and says girls are better then boys, then she'll end up with an ear-ache or comes up to me and says blokes are better then girls they'll end up with a black eye cause all theyr doing is starting a arguement for the sake of it..... (and of course i hope u get the meaning of what i said as i ment a bloke with the black eye not a girl, i'd never hit a lady)

What you call girl power I call stupid feminism.

I despise your girl power, and please don't ruin this thread.

I was talking about the general thread, I was including myself for getting things off topic.

I'd say its about "teenage" because it is the time of our lives when we're first truly exposed to the opposite sex and the world at large. because we are developing their, "sexual idenities" we're also developing how we place the other individual. "the source" if you will.

Okay, "teenage" tag justified. So is this thread an attempt to stick it to feminism. I missed out on this whole "girl power" thread. I'm sure it was irritating as all hell. At this stage of feminism, it isn't so much the woman that needs to be brought up but the male that needs to step down. Its a slow process, but "throwing like a girl" has become more of a joke than an insult. Things are going well, but it isn't something that is over and done with.

As for the original post on the thread, yes, human beings mature. At one point, very much like your sexist faze, you went through your diaper phase. The best way to get out of that phase is to get over your cooties and your hormones and figure out how to stop seeing people as their specific sex. Like living color-blind, try being gender-blind. It doesn't matter if the your new co-worker would probably be a blast in bed, just figure out how you two mix fully clothed, because nine times out of ten that is what your relationship will look like.
