Well, here is my second tutorial. It's made for PS, but it might work for other programs to

thats not how you make a grid pattern, you have to put only 2 sides

yea because if you make it like that, then the lines will be thicker, unless you want them to be, then you shouldn't do it, and it puts an outline on the pic

but when i made it it was too dark i opened a new pic and fill it with the pattern but the result was too dark

try making a new layer then lower the opacity ^-^
